Because we think we will keep our own youth that way - I can't see any other answer as it is really a bad thing, the support you get from someone with the same life experience is a lot more powerful.

Christmas to me is about to be reinvented. My memories are about candles, cinnamon, Christmas trees and magic stories on the telly.
Now, I have not had a real Christmas for quite some time, and never one where I had made time to enjoy it properly since I was a teenager. This Christmas will be a mish-mash between a Romanian and a Spanish one as my own Swedish heritage has faded too much to leave much left to offer.
I hope Christmas will be about family and a time to relax, no talk about jobs or things like that. In fact, I know it will be.
That care, if lost, is something you will long for the rest of your life. It is not a misrepresentation, it is just very hard to find back to.
Simple, but when we are left among those that thinks love is just a fantasy in a writers childish mind and have no real relation to the very meaning of it, not as a word but as an expression of care and intimacy, we feel annoyed by those who knows what they are looking for.
I am packing to return to my real world but here has been wonderful, I already long to be back, but with company of a certain kind then and without booked meetings in advance
Now I will need to de-accelerate a bit and get into Christmas mood, there is a tree to be dressed (false, but still) and decorations to be set up.
The 25:th I am picking her up at the airport and we will finally meet. Been a long time now.
