Thanks for sharing.......I was not thinking of anything extreme, a couple of days exploring the countryside, away from it all, but always with a base to return to.
Thanks for the advice. I was thinking along the same lines but thought that perhaps I was blowing everything out of proportion. I will definitely reconsider.
I'm thinking of travelling solo some time during 2016, probably to some place in Europe but am slightly hesitant as this would be my first time. Any one who has travelled solo and would like to share their experience?
yes, sometimes we do things and then regret them ....but who would have thought that we were in for such a day. thank god that it was only one day ...hope we dont get another such one until next October!!!
Totally agree with you...but then you can't make anyone learn something that they dont feel the need for or that they dont want to.
I have foreign friends who speak the maltese langauge as good (or almost as good as us maltese) but most of these have children who speak maltese. Others understand what is being said but are unable to speak in maltese...but as long as communication is possible....who cares!
The choice to learn or not to learn the langauge of a country that one decides to live in is up to the individual. Most maltese speak english and therfore there are no commuincation problems.....that is one of the reasons, in addition to our lovely climate, why foreigners decide to make Malta or Gozo their home.
I have read thru all the posts on this thread....this is an international forum and therefore what applies to one country does not neccessarily apply to another.
I have been separated for the last 15 years.... I have not lived with my husband for the same amount of time, I have no contact with him whatsoever, I can do what ever it is that I want with my property and my husband will not get any of it when I die.
Where I come from divorce is not an option as there are no divorce laws. I have all the rights that a divorce grants except one.....I can't marry again ......but then who wants to get married a second time.....not me!!!!!
