I think that's why it's important to post a couple of pics so people can see you are not hiding behind a profile. Besides with time many of us have spoken to and met others in person and we know who's who.

There is Usenet for philosophical and religious and political threads. This is a dating site and by its very nature tends to be light. This wasn't a response to you Dru it was to the OP who was already banned after one very ugly day on here-I remember it well as does Conrad.... I don't come here for deep thought I come here to pass the time with fun/interesting/funny ppl.

When someone starts a thread and you post in it, but look
back and see the person who started never comes back in
to say anything, does it upset you? For me, at times, yes it
does. I know you can't be in that thread constantly but
just letting people know you agree or disagree with a
few is nice. Well that is my nit picky complaint for
the day.

No because it usually gets hijacked. I don't like it at all when someone asks a question and I answer and they don't respond. Gilly's done that to me one too many times so I no longer respond to him.

Because it still is an issue everywhere. I have Japanese friends who married into Chinese families and their parents were unhappy. I think that culture and religion play a big part in who we are and are all tied together with race and while many people don't care their families and/or their partner's families may so it's still brought up for discussion on here.

Totally. But that goes for any man who picks or avoids an entire particular group-there's something deeply wrong with them I've found. When a man won't date the women of his own background (I've seen that alot from men of all different ethnicities)it's usually because they hate themselves on some level or are ashamed.

West LA? Biggest phonies in the city. All about what car and how you look and how much money and where you shop and they're rude. I prefer the beach cities where I grew up and still live. Not that surfers can afford it anymore since all the Westsiders and movie people moved down but they haven't been able to ruin it.
NorCal is so pretentious and self-conscious and obsessed with SoCal. They're always talking about us and we never even think about them.
