But I still think that depends upon the person. I have spoken to 3 men on here. By phone. 1 as a good friend. And two because we liked each other. Of the two the first I knew a month or two and the other 3.5 months. I wouldn't hesitate to meet any of them in person. I trust them all or wouldn't have even gotten to the phone part and once it did I felt even more comfortable. I think if someone trusts their instincts and pays close attention then there will be no problems. In the past I have met some people from online (not here) and never once had a bad experience but again I went with my instincts.

That whole thing up to "...educated women?" was a copy of what you wrote to HL. I posted a bunch of your posts all starting trouble with people on here insulting and being rude as was your original post. Look up my posts, I do not make it a habit of insulting people on the forums. Your posts are about 80% insults to people on here. Oh, and I thought you were ignoring me?

Bashing is not my way. I state my opinion, that is all. You just can't stand that there is someone out there who is of different opinion than you are. I even started in saying that a few of you would not like my take on this and therefore I have done nothing wrong.

I remember being in England and simply not being able to say that I had to go to the toilet. It sounded so rude to me and I would ask for the restroom even though I knew they didn't know what I meant. I agree about the food words, it got so bad I ended up pointing to everything that I wanted. An English muffin and a scone seem to be different here than there...
Yes, I remember you also teach. I have been a teacher for 20 years (plus 2 as an assistant) during which time I taught bilingual, regular and special education. I also have an M.A. in Educational Counseling. I speak several languages and can spell words in languages I don't speak. This means nothing but that I am a good speller. I can remember the old days (in my case 15 years ago) when netiquette said that it was poor manners to point out spelling mistakes because we are here to debate not proofread.
