My pics are brand new and my profile is honest but I've been online for 15 years (with bathroom breaks) and I know that as far as a dating site its only good for making contact just like you do in person where you see someone and speak a few words (as I did this morning while picking up a part at the car dealer) and then you really have to meet in person and get to know the person. There's nothing magical about being online that you don't have to do the work that you do in person. The internet is good for making contact with way more people than you do in daily life but that's it. So I don't write long essays-just some basics about myself and the person can decide if he thinks I'm worth getting to know more. Same thing when I read profiles I just want a little information and I have a fairly good idea from that. Some of my longest and best friendships/relationships were with people I might not have thought I'd enjoy.
Why do you have to check with your sources? Why not check public records and see for yourself? Its very simple. As for Republicans and the environment in Cali I'd like to know about some Democrats who have done anything. As far as who's "better," for me that would be who is more responsive to their constituents. Over the years I have contacted various representatives for various reasons. In recent years the only two who bothered to respond and/or took action were Dana Rohrbacher (R) and Betty Karnette (D.) I don't think one party is better than the other.
Yeah, where I live the men wear them. Men and little girls, only the men wear the brighter colors and no snap ons. I don't even have words for how hideous they are on anyone over 6. Your date is so lucky, I think everything you have planned sounds wonderful. You can always throw her over at the last minute and call me. I could be there in, oh, 48 hours or so... Have fun.
Thanks for the info you provide LA Cali.... I dont really know but still all those I know(very well) living in California talking positively about Arnold but still I respect your point of view. Yeah...... I was really dispointed hearing a bout Humwees becuase I find the using a 12 cylinder military virchle for daily usage truely disgusting !
You are right his own private stuff doe snot match his legislations regarding natur prtection at all........
But still, I hear he has done a lot good things.......
For example making California number one states all over the nation regarding usage of renewable energy as windmolls, sun based electricity, water energy and so on......beside he has created the most effective recycling system in California as well and has been a very active part of creating more protected natur reserves in the state. Many jobd have bene created that way and he is very igore to make "others" as factories and stuff to create less polution and making California a leading state in making money out of renewable energy........Lies?
What??? California has had alternative energies since I can remember in the 70's. AS had nothing to do with any of that. He has done nothing about recycling-that is a local issue from city to city there is no statewide recycling program. He has created no "nature reserves" In fact as far as his stance on environmental issues he was rated 50 out of 100 by environmentalists and has infuriated them by advocating nuclear power. He refused to assess a $30. on containers coming into the Los Angeles Harbor (near where I live) which is the busiest harbor in the country and second busiest in the world and the money would have been used to cut air pollution. He voted against a measure which would have made it state policy to take every step necessary to reduce dependence on oil. And best of all, he vetoed a measure which would have required half of all cars sold in California by 2020 to be capable of using alternative fuels. He has also taken more than $1 million (that we know of) in campaign money from oil companies. Everything you have written is pure fantasy, probably invented by the European media which is ridiculous since what I write is a matter of public record in California. His voting record, his campaign contributions etc. etc. These are not my opinons but facts. Unbelievable. The man is a corrupt politician.
But Arnold is from Austria and came to America much older than McCain so he will neve rbe able becomingthe presidnet any way.
I beleive if Arnold could become the presidnet it would be great some how......... I care alot about environment and mother natur and Arnold really cares about this matter and actually have been in dog fight with the Bushney,s for yeras because of this. I dont even concider Arnold as a Bushney.........he is just republican because he is rich nothing more than that
I love it when people who have spent a couple of vacations somewhere (if that much) feel qualified to share their political views like Meet the Nation pundits. I can assure you that AS could care less about the environment as he owned 8 Hummers at one time, was one of the first owners. Apparently he now only owns 4. He flies back and forth between his compound in Brentwood and his office in Sacramento in his PRIVATE JET weekly wasting huge amounts of fuel and at tax payer expense. He's a huge joke in California and panders to whichever group yells the loudest or whatever local talk radio hosts uncover about him that week. He's won on the platform of lowering taxes because we got rid of Gray Davis for tripling car registration fees and now he's talking about upping sales tax to 10% when California has one of the highest total tax rates in the nation. He's disgusting.
Technically IQ is figured by such things as reading ability and logic. I've been teaching for almost 20 years and my students who were good in math but couldn't read well did much more poorly in school than those who read well and couldn't do math well. Reading is necessary for every subject including math (higher level math requires logic and fair reading ability.)
That was a nice thing to say Dknew . Nomindgames, I hear ya, I wish that was the way it played out. I think it does much more so in real life than online. Since I haven't had luck online I think I'll have to go back to real life.
I did but I don't know if they'll do anything about it. And that one came out of nowhere because I don't answer im's. I hadn't had any contact with him at all.
Not sure I'd want that either since some people get really offended by other people's views and opinions. I posted here yesterday about the hate mail I've gotten over nothing so I'm extremely careful what I post in the forums and how I word it.
Susie and Lydia, Nobody looks at my profile unless I post in the forums and then its only to see who I am-I don't think that all that many people outside of regular posters read the forums. I have never had my photo rating turned on but I'm wondering if I did then at least someone would look at it. I don't care who thinks I'm attractive or not since that's a completely individual thing but I know that sometimes when I'm bored I rate men's photos as an easy way to look at profiles. Otherwise I don't think there's much point in the site if no one looks at profiles.
At first I thought it was dumb and obnoxious but then I realized that it was a good way to see people's profiles and to have people see yours which is probably why people do it. I don't want to do it (I don't want to see how I rate) but I'm wondering what you think. Did you let people rate your photo and if so did it help in meeting anyone? Don't tell me to send flowers or mail to men whose profiles I liked, I tried that many times and got no response or negative ones. I think its better just to let them contact me.

I'm sorry that happened to you. The way to win is to break the cycle with your own children. Be a better person than he could ever dream of being. I can see by your posts that you care about people and society so I think you've won.
Ok, I googled him (not working today ) Very creepy, red flags all over the place. Here's my .02 : there are many many wonderful men on here and in the general population so why waste a second on this guy? If someone gives you the slightest pause, move on. Don't waste your time and don't EVER doubt your gut feeling-its rarely wrong. Next time you feel this way, delete the guy, don't second guess yourself. In this case I'm sure you're correct but why take a chance?
No names so this isn't gossip (I have a feeling the thread's been reported already) but several local (to me) people from here who have contacted me have profiles on another website with uh, differing information. Perhaps they forget things like age and height and such, one can't always remember every little detail!
I hear ya sister. As someone who has actually met online people in person (though not from this site) I feel your pain. I don't know why so many people lie but they do but its usually vanity stuff like age/height/weight. I haven't found that means they will necessarily lie about bigger things. And online is the same as real life in that you have to meet many people to find the few you click with. For some reason people think that being online means you don't have to go through the same process as in real life of meeting and getting to know someone. I think its worth the process because you will end up with some true friends and possibly a great relationship. I know I have on both counts. So, chin up, shoulders back and fight the good fight. And if the poor guy is 8 or 9 inches shorter than his profile, well, maybe you can wear his shirts so its all good.
What she said. 100% The Grand Canyon is amazing. If I could only visit one place it would be that. Heaven, if you are interested in Native American culture and one of the great wonders of the world.
Since you do have your real pic right there as well, why not have some fun? And the real pic only matters if you're looking to possibly meet someone and not just the forums. If the person doesn't have a sense of humor, who wants him anyway??
RE: Do most men read profiles? NO! The answer to some of your questions are there.
