Computer problem

Yes quite agree

But my understanding is that you more often find a telephone socket for dial up than a adsl point, so they decided to keep the good old dial up modem for use when adsl was not available.

But I am sure the next Generation of laptops will have built in dsl modem and dial up

cheers

You and me both know, there are no guaranties in this life.

Lets say in 1 week, 1 month 1 year she meets someone else, and moves to a different state

Same result, different path.

No risk go gain

RE: You get a phone call quite late at night

I think that sounds really cool, getting back to nature and using/learning about the "old ways"

RE: The Plot Thickens

As a rule of thumb I never reply to contacts made without the author showing up on the "Who's viewed me"

Its a pretty near certainty that its a scam and has been sent to 100's of profiles

They just view "New members" or "Online today" etc. and select those who appear, probably those with a picture, this does not show up on your "Who's viewed me " page.

If someone is genuinely interested in you then they will read your whole profile, and contact you from that page.

I would go at the drop of a hat as long as it was an Island with decent weather, somewhere like Greenland has no appeal but in the pacific well that's another matter. But it would have to have running hot and cold water roll eyes

RE: Any of u ever tasted Turkish coffee?

One of the better ideas that comes from America is the refilling of a coffee cup.

We in the UK seem to take on so many US ideas, be they language or material things but why oh why can't we have the refill.

Its just so civilised, your sat in a Denny's Dinner at 2 am, after a "Lively evening" chewing the cud with a few mates over a cup of freshly brewed coffee and every 10 mins or so the waitress comes over and tops it up.

And while we are on the subject, a medium cup at Starbucks is around $3.0 here in the UK, so how much do you pay??

RE: Any of u ever tasted Turkish coffee?

Yep, loved it, but (no offence) prefer Greek coffee

If I ever wear an item such as NIKE etc then I want $1000,000 for advertising their name, how dare they plaster it all over my clothing. very mad

RE: a million whats in your dream

Dear Muleguy

You poor blind beggar, can’t you see a forgery when you see one, that letter was created to discredit me, probably by Anglo who is using her female traits to usurp you and take over your empire. very mad

Can you honestly believe that I would send such a letter across an open forum, never !! I say never!! Sir, I may be a foolish and possibly mislead man with a slight deviant leaning towards women’s clothing , whips, chains and candles. And I admit my night-time wandering have made the local police more than aware of me, and of course the time I was caught with the rubber ring halfway up a tree whilst singing Land of hope and Glory, And it was never proven that I left the autopilot off when I was the pilot of the plane that got the Guinness book of records top award for greatest number of members of the mile high club in one airplane, it just slipped out during a bit of disturbance.
Ok I apologise for the helicopter stunt over Moscow’s Red Square, but I was provoked and it seemed a good idea at the time, Damn those Russian scammers, they're so persuasive . But I am not that stupid.

Take care my friend there are evil people here that may seem genuine on paper but will cause your destruction if allowed to meet you, take precautions "mate", and never give away you personnel details, if you need further details I can point you to a suitable thread. innocent

Keep looking, there are eyes and ears everywhere, I know as I have just got back from the supermarket and saw them there. But no need to become paranoid, I can do that for all 4 of us of us. uh oh

I remain your very obedient servant

RE: To...................

Maybe its because she's Irish lolroll eyes

RE: To...................

Exactly, Respect, Responsibility and Pride in whatever you undertake

I had a strict upbringing both at home and at Boarding School, corporal punishment never made me violent towards anyone, Just made me respect discipline which in turn made me a stronger and I hope a better person.

RE: To...................

Great Post IrishLass

And he's hit the nail on the head, we learnt the value of listening to our elders or faced the consequences, we showed respect to others and accepted responsibility for our actions.

I remember coming home from school and telling my mum that I got the cane for misbehaving in class, I was grounded for a week as she agree with my teacher, no going to the school the next day and threatening with legal action, instead I was the model student. professor

(well for about a month, but you get my drift lol) wave

What is the most memorable place you have ever visited and why

Vancouver must be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and what about Gastown, great night life, oh such wonderful memories.
