RE: will the world end ????

I'm still trying to figure out who Nortsdamus is...dunno confused

However, the predictions of Nostradamus have been pretty accurate, and I think the world as we currently know it is going to end. But a new beginning will happen, and hopefully it will be better than what we have known up to now. wine

RE: arrrrrrrrgh!

Ah...that's when you copy and paste it into one, then when it doesn't take, you split it up and make a post to the thread. Since it takes everyone a while to read and respond, you usually have time to do this. Try it again, LF. bouquet

I don't know what you were trying to do, but you're braver than I am if you're trying something new and techie! wine

RE: Atlantis - By Any Other Name

That would certainly make it more convincing...though the substitute channeler could have studied the work of the usual one well enough to be a convincing actor/actress as well. I don't disbelieve the channelings, but I am a bit of a skeptic of this type of "revelation"...and I will be unless I experience such a thing myself. I always am, my friend. You'd swear I was raised in Missouri (the "show me" state). laugh wine

Anyway, that fourth density thing sounds intriguing. Scary in a way, to lay so bare to all, and yet I like the rest of it. And I'm working to be ready to move to that level...or to move to wherever/whatever is happening next. cheers

reunion Vinny! OMG, good to see you, my friend! It's been a long time!

No, I'm not in any casual relationships either. The only relationships I have at this point are those with my friends and family, and the most serious one is the one with myself. wine

Boban, I wish I'd thought of that! Blackmailing CS for one...hmmm...however, it doesn't seem to be very effective. blues

Taino, with the snow on the ground and the temperatures in the 20s (F), I wish I lived near you right now too! laugh

Steve, good luck on your surgery. I hope I see you when you return. In the meantime, you'll be in my prayers. bouquet

Gilly, good to see you again too! I've missed your goofiness in the forums! hug

Cyndie, my best wishes to you. I'll keep you in my prayers for getting back on your feet as well. hug

Everyone, thank you for the good wishes. I've missed being as active in the forums as I once was, and I'll miss it even more as my time to get online gets even more limited. But it's temporary...eventually I'll be able to get online at home again after work. Blessings to all! wine

Happy New Year! wine

RE: soul mates?

I believe there is...and they are the family you chose to be born into, the friends you chose to help and be helped by along the way, as well as those you enter into romantic relationships with throughout your lifetime.

Is there just one? No, I don't think so, because I believe in soul groups who make pacts for the higher good of all and spend multiple lifetimes helping each other grow. Your mother in this lifetime might have been your wife in another, for example.

And then there's the reality that all souls are part of the One Soul, which is part of the Divine Intelligence that created all, and all time exists at the same time...so there truly is no separation. You are your mother, your father, the tree in your yard, and the bird sitting in it...and they are you. wine

Same to both of you ladies! Off of here for today, and don't know when I get to return. I might be on for the rest of the week, until Wednesday, or might not. wave

Hope so, very soon...the data phone thing won't work for too much time online, it gets frustrating, and the screen is too small. But it will be a wonderful temporary solution. wine

And I definitely want more discussions with you after I get to review some of the things you've sent me. bouquet

Ah, very true. And I'm looking forward to seeing what exactly that upgrade entails. The "adventure of a lifetime", and I get to be on board for the ride! wine

RE: how many stars in the universe?

I had no idea that there was a real answer, more or less that it was a question...and don't expect that too many others will "know" this either. sigh dunno

Actually, I'm looking forward to this one, and it's permanent, not a temp position...so long as I do well, anyway. wine

RE: Atlantis - By Any Other Name

And I do give thanks to the Universe for my food. Whatever it is, it gave its life so I could eat, and for that I'm grateful. And I don't eat more than necessary for my health...at least, not any more. And yes, it's an awareness many don't have at all...it's what divides the Aware from the Unaware, regardless of religious/spiritual beliefs. Thankfully, many more are becoming Aware every day.

I meant in this lifetime, silly. giggle

RE: how many stars in the universe?

And yes, I'm aware of that one too. But most of us follow the Earth zodiac of 12 signs. Many astrologers will tell you that it's more accurate for us than the one with 13 signs. Fight it all you want, we're Earth-born and still tied to its vibrations for now. tongue

RE: one in a hundred reply to the forums

And some of them at least read the forums (lurkers), others have no clue that they exist...or at least have never read them at all. wine

RE: Atlantis - By Any Other Name

We're going to take this way off track, but that awareness is why I'm not a vegetarian. I don't eat a lot of meat, but I will eat it, and I eat a lot of sea food. I see plants as just as aware of being eaten as animals, with just as much life spark as them.

And the lower form of consciousness is what Chellie refers to in that book...only it's a lower form of human consciousness, and one can change it, unlike a shark in the ocean which cannot decide to become a dolphin. wine

Thank you, Betty. hug

RE: how many stars in the universe?

Ah, referring to astrology. By that definition, there are 12 Sun Signs, 12 Moon Signs, and 12 Rising Signs available at the time of one's birth. And then there are other planets, depending on the astrologer since some now include Chiron, falling in different houses. There are still at least hundreds of possibilities for unique combinations in any given year...making thousands of possibilities if you're looking at more than one specific age for a partner.

Your natal chart, which is unique to you, determines your personality and life challenges, but doesn't determine your entire future. You still have free will, or you couldn't overcome your life challenges.

Did that help? hug

I'm not leaving...

but you won't see me on as much soon, at least for a while. I should be starting a new job this week, and that means my online access will be weekends only since I have to get online at the library until I can replace my computer or get a data phone. And this coming Saturday, the library will be closed. The limited holiday hours have been making it scarce for me to get on lately, and I didn't want anyone to worry...or to make "good" suppositions, either, as I'm not currently in any serious relationships.

Have a Happy New Year, everyone! wave party wine

RE: Date-a-Disability Threshold

What would be hard to handle about your lifestyle, other than how much time you spend taking care of your mother?

And for me, it's the same. Few can handle my lifestyle...it's too healthy for most people. sigh

RE: how many stars in the universe?

They'd take too many lifetimes to count. Heck, we just discovered a new planet not that many years ago, and removed one from the planet list. We now have the planet Chiron, but Pluto is now thought not to be a planet, or not one from our solar system anyway. confused dunno I don't think I'd trust anyone who said that they knew how many stars exist. wine
