I'm not so sure about there being only one person who you can connect on all levels with either. Or even if there definitely necessarily IS one person for everyone.
soul-mates ? It's certainly a nice thing to say, but is it really true, or is it just a matter of varying degrees of compatibility and/or complimentary personalities ? Many of us have heard the statement that "opposites attract". But do opposites lead to stable relationships ? Or, is that simply the fuse for an eventual explosive separation ? Some theorize that any two people are in constant flux. Meaning that they change in their degree of compatibility and that can be in either direction. What are your thoughts on this topic ?
McCain made an excellent concession speech. Unfortunately, the Republican crowd did not behave well. However, McCain showed class in his speech. If only he took the high road during his campaign and showed this side of him, he would have done better.
Obama's speech was POWERFUL ! Congratutations to our country for electing the better candidate and making history. Hopefully, now Obama will be able to follow through on his promises for real change. I am optimistic that he can. He has an amazing intrinsic ability to touch others with his words and goals.
It's essentially over. 220 versus 141 electoral votes so far and CA alone has 55 votes (historicly Democratic state). A candidate only needs 270 electoral votes for a win.
