Well thanks Jim, and everyone else really. I just wanted to add, I havent really put all of my eggs in one basket yet! LOL! really, I just get so tired of the ones that do fit so to speak being either too far away (just moved back to my home town after a long distance relationship and really dont want to do that again), or they dont fit at all, either too old or too young , or they want to have kids ( i dont and cant) or they are really religiuos, I am not really. I am a hard fit, so when I actually find or read a profile that actually matches, wow! And your point about friendship is a good one. And the email thing, ya, I am not a big email person, I like to get right to the point, face to face is really the thing for me. Expressions and tone of voice and real conversation are all so important. But I totally get what you mean hun.

Sorry Ocee, that is my vent!! lol! I am a Hapigrl! Really! I try to laugh things off, trust me it doesnt always work, but this is my public vent. Guess I am more private with more seriuos stuff. (in case noone knows, my name is after the song Happy Girl by Martina McBride, it is really my lifes story so I try to take things in stride)

Ok Hello, i am kinda new here, but not new to online dating. I needed to write and vent becouse after trying SOOOOO many sites, (plenty of dates, 7 year relationship from one), I have never written to a guy. Not that I havent wanted too, but just wasnt confident enough, I finally did write a guy. And, god how nerve wracking! Anyone who writes, who has actually READ your profile and things are right, I commend, it takes balls! I was sweating bullets just writting this guy I found. The problem is, after I wrote, I discovered he has not been on in a while, and I am a nervous wreck waiting for him to read my email! LOL!! I dont want to sound or look desperate, becouse really I'm not, just anxious! lol! Crush kinda thing! Funny at my age! Anyway, just had to express myself, going a little nuts and have no other avenue. Thanks for listening!
