Yeah it sounds like this year might be challenging, but that could be a good thing. I'm sure you'll end the year a lot stronger and come out better because of it all.
Personally I don't care. It doesn't bother me that I'm on somebodies favorite list. If I have anybody on my favorite list it might be one person. But I don't care whose lists I'm on or not on, I don't pay attention to that stuff.
