It's only my sense of humour, some call it irony, other's call me a sarcastic blighter, don't worry I can be tamed, usually wine gum's and a daily shot does the trick.I enjoy the banter and good luck to Mickey on his relationship, marriage is a wonderful institution, you can finish the answer :
Brightongirl, they could have had the something, but they would'nt have got the house or the money, not that I am well off and from what I saw of Prague,I don't think that Glasgow and its surrounding areas would be aspirational to anyone from that area, although I did notice a few drunk tramps in the city, probably exported from Scotland
I think I was annoyed at the idea that a Singles Club, and it is advertised as such, allows its membership to be so lax that married or couples groups have such a prevalence at the event. At one point I heard the DJ mentioning a couple by their married title,so it is obvious that this is allowed.I won't be mingling there again.
Lisalee, never thought of Stratford on Avon, might be worth checking out.In relation to the Czech girls,I would have loved one of them to come back to Scotland, however I would have been accused of "cradle snatching",as the girls I saw were in their 20's
As we wind down into Autumn and the dark days of winter here's a subject to cheer everyone up,what holiday destinations would you recommend? and what made it special for you?it does'nt have to be exotic or expensive, just good spots or places to enjoy.I took a city break in Prague this year, fortunately I went before the credit crisis, and ended up in a five star hotel at very little cost.It is a beautiful city, very compact so you don't have to spread out too far with terrific gothic architecture.Extremely cheap for drink, bottle of lager round about fifty pence,at the time I went it was during the European Championships so the main squares had huge screens and beer gardens set up,great atmosphere no trouble unlike Manchester.Ooh and finally I have never seen so many stunning girls in any one place in my life.So get typing I am looking for ideas
Cheers Jo.Just a sense of annoyance,as the publicity blurb from the organizers say "there are no strangers at ******(well non minty chocolate sweets in green box)just new friends you haven't met yet"Aye right!!.As Emmylou Harris sang "C'est La Vie"
Hope this does'nt sound sound like self pity.Went to a local singles club for the first time tonight.Got there early,so was at a table of eight by myself.Eventually two groups joined the table.I tried to make conversation, but I was made as welcome as a fart in a space-suit.It was obvious that they were couples/married and this was their local. To sum up.felt total frustration as I was unable to go to another table,as the place was fairly full up by then and eventually left early. My question is why the hell do married couples or in relationships go to these night outs? And why do the organisers let it carry on?
