I know exactly what you mean. I've been struggling with this myself. I don't consider myself a sap or anything, just a good guy who grew up thinking that you were supposed to treat women well and that a good relationship was the ultimate goal. Unfortunately, I have given in at times and met these kind of people on their level because it's tough to find somebody who wants to do more than that. It never works out of course because they are from an entirely different mindset than I am. What is with that anyway? Like you said, why are there so many trashy stupid drunks these days? Was it always that way or is something going horribly wrong?
