I remember the first time I lost someone close, it was my grandmother and I was 13, I was feeling so bad than I lost my sister when I was 15 and that was the worst for me till this day. My brother passed when he was 51 and I'm happy my parents live into their 80's. And I know my Mom would want me and the kids to enjoy the holidays best we can. It's still new and I know it will get better for you in time, I pray it will.
The first set of holidays may be hard, but do your best knowing that is what you father would want for you, to try to enjoy them the best you can. This is the first of the holidays without my mother, passes in july, but I know she would want me to carry on the best I can.
