Please reference a previous thread in which it was clearly stated that there were no more nice guys, but they were all abducted by little green aliens and replaced with morons. It is a government conspiracy that no one wants to talk about.

Just for the record, there is a number of places in your original posts where you have used run-on sentences, or missed places to properly utilize the comma.

The Pastor's business card

I thought this was cute.


A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door.

Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote 'Revelation 3:20' on the back of it and stuck it in the door.

When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, 'Genesis 3:10.'

Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter.

-Revelation 3:20 begins 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock.'
-Genesis 3:10 reads, 'I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked.'

Oops, did I say that? Sometimes I have selective Turrets and my fingers type quicker than I can restrain myself.

I have no pets and work 70 hours a week. My place doesn't get very dusty.

We have a ventilation system with hepa and an air purifier that keeps the air pure as well.

I seldom entertain - I don't know anyone other than work peeps. My room mate entertains, but she generally cleans up after them as well.

I love my LCD TV. Mount it on the wall and there is no cabinet to worry about.

I sweep and mop the floors daily. I vacuum at least weekly. I dust monthly. I clean the refrigerator weekly and everything is dated with masking tape with the date it was put in and the date to remove.

I keep my house as spotless as I can make it. It takes discipline to do things right away instead of procrastinate. I do a thorough cleaning once a month and make sure there is no clutter.

I suppose there is a part of me that will never trust again fully. After being cheated on, it is awfully hard.

As far as online, I am VERY leary. Not of owen, just of the whole thing in general. I have heard too many horror stories.

So I will take my time, get to know someone. Plan a visit with no pressure, and build from there.

I do not give out a lot of personal specific details, although I give some.

No I did not kill a kid. A little girl came in from a car accident. She was conscious for a few minutes, but had enough internal injuries that there was little we could do. She died in OR.

CDs are a safer archive, hard drive better for fast access.

I wouldn't get rid of your CDs incase your hard drive is stolen or fails.

But moving them all to hard drive makes sense for day to day use.
