Not saying something didn't/doesn't need to be done ooby.
This bill is not the answer though. Health care will be TONS worse in 10 years - 6 years after this bill goes into full effect.
We will have fewer doctors, fewer dollars, and substandard care.
And that woman whose life was prolonged by medical care would have been referred to hospice care months earlier under the new legislation because treating her long term would be too costly.
It is called Rationed care, and will be the new normal in 10 years.
You say you don't care about U.S. policy, but that doesn't seem to be the case. When Germany has Obamessiah come and bring his message of hope to their shores.......when his European tour is bigger than U2........when there are just as many proObamessiah threads started by people who don't live in the U.S. on these boards then there are negative by American citizens.....
If the man is worth a dime he ought to respect his wife enough to grant her a divorce before even approaching someone else for a relationship. The other party does not have to grant a divorce - there are ways around that, believe me, I have lived it.
And if the woman was worth a dime she would not seek a relationship with a man who was married.
I just went back through the old threads I started. Some brought back sad memories, others cracked me up.
First, I didn't realized I had started 29 pages of threads - I don't really feel like a chatty person generally and have had long hiatuses away from the computer.
The rude American military dancing in to steal the resources of an unsuspecting native land? It wreaks of accusations that we were only in Iraq for the oil.
The fact that we "killed" our planet wreaks of environmentalism.
I never saw the movie. Heard from some marine buddies who served in Iraq that said it was completely ridiculous and all they could do was laugh until it made them mad.
I watched Avatar and while the political message irritated me, the cinematics were unbelievable.
I can't really think of anything that I have had to take the blame for for myself as far as personality, however, I used to regularly take the blame for my team when something occurred that was less than ideal in the ER.
Throwing a team mate under the bus when you know, they know, and everyone else knows it was their fault isn't cool.
When I have made mistakes i have been quick to accept responsibility and work to not only rectify, but prevent another one like it from happening.
Merry Christmas to all. I have learned a lot this year. One is to not take for granted people who have shown kindness to you. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Obama, the Great Reneger
So, in a brief look at Godsgifts threads, we find..Wed Mar 17, 2010 11:38 AM PST : OBAMA ROCKS
Started by him. Hmmmmm
Then we also find...
Ireland has just sold its independance to Europe - posted in the Lounge rather than in the Ireland thread
So right there we see 2 threads that directly contradict his argument. Is it enough to prove hypocrisy? Probably not - it is only 2 threads after all.
