worst date was I was out with a young lady, we were hitting it off ok. Nothing super sparky, but good conversation, we had a lot in common.
Next thing I know this guy is in my face asking me what I was doing with his girl. I was like, wtf dude, I don't know anything about "your girl". I am out with this young lady - who turned out to be his very ex-girlfriend.
she tried to back him down, he was determined he was going to show me that she was his property. Manager called the police while this dude attempted to hurt me.
He didn't, got hurt instead and pretty badly I might add.
Cops took me down as if I was the culprit and only after I sat their in handcuffs with mace in my face did the cops finally shut up long enough to listen and find out that I was not the one causing the problems.
So, needless to say, I was not in the mood for a good night kiss.
You believe there is no God. I believe there is. Our belief systems are different, but it is still based on belief, and belief, no matter how you cut it is based on faith.
I don't think it is evolution of man at all. There have always been people who claimed that God doesn't exist. And I see time and time again things that are more than mere coincidences, things completely unexplainable by human thought or science, that confirms to me that he does exist.
I cannot say in what form he exists and whether he is as the Christians believe, or any other group for that matter, but I see day in and day out evidences that he exists.
So I don't think, given that there have always been people who said that God doesn't exist, that there is evolution of thought in any way in regards to it.
What I think is that atheism takes just as much faith as any of the other religions to believe and as I get older, I believe atheism takes more faith than some of the other religions.

Ok, so I am probably showing my age here, but who remembers Night Trax on TBS? It was music videos on TV before MTV existed and they showed them from like 12 p.m. at night until 6 a.m. in the morning.
Definitely self esteem here. My private persona when I am by myself or with friends is much different than my work persona.
I am pretty introverted by nature, but you probably wouldn't know that if you worked with me. And it takes a lot of energy to be UP all the time when that is against your nature, which makes the occasional 72 hour shift even more difficult.
Extroverts feed on other people's energy....introverts require more energy to sustain.
