no, not really. i've had a couple of long termish partners and I remember one which ended badly because we were so bored of each other. i'd wake up in the morning thinking oh god not you again. happily we did split up though

well, you know, you'll often find that the child's mother is quite attractive but sadly, as so often happens, she has fallen prey to the evils of domesticity. given up the drink, given up the drugs, given up the late nights, given up the rich food, given up the men, given up fun and replaced it all with the grey shrouds of celery, sobriety and jesus. well, she needs something to put all that unspent energy and repression into and that's when her poor kid suddenly finds herself being dragged into a netherworld of fat men and taffeta.

oh well then, to be serious for a moment. if the bail out hadn't gone ahead and the money markets had remained frozen it wouldn't have been the washington fat cats who'd have suffered. it would have been the average joe. it certainly wasn't the best of plans but it was needed because the government could not sit back and allow the average citizens wages to go unpaid, for their mortgage to fall apart or indeed their workplace to close down. on a related subject, one thing that isn't mentioned much yet but soon will be is that china has just become a world super power and god help the u.s if it decides to stop buying her dollars because if that happens the depression of the 30s will seem like a holiday in the sun.
why, my dear i've adopted many children in my time. as you may know I am in the process of setting up an orphanage for wayward nurses. yes, it is expensive and time consuming but if I can save just 14 wayward nurses from choosing the path of righteousness then it will all be worth it. why,in many ways i'm just like mary poppins I am. friend to the waifs and strays.

I like these russian women who keep proposing to me. today one poor thing sent a very long email all about how terrible life was in russia. well, I just had to reply. i'm busy setting up a home for wayward nurses at the moment and I told her if she could bring some friends she'd be most welcome as there's a lot of decorating that needs doing and my knee's a bit sore at the mo.

I made a six tier wedding cake for a couple of friends a few weeks back. took me about 4 days to get the thing just right. it collapsed twice and one section ended up being hurled against a fridge door and another was stamped on after I messed up the detailing. still, it was good to try something a bit different although I don't think i'll be doing it again for a long time.
there's a national wildlife reserve in rajastan which is used to preserve tigers. if I had the money to actually see a tiger walking through the jungle. that would be something
aye, that sounds nice. i've always fancied a shot of deep sea fishing. I go out with a couple of pals, it's mostly salmon or trout fishing we go for. there's nothing like setting up a camp on a beach, cleaning down a few fish and putting them over a fire. there's a few good spots up in the highlands. the trossachs are great for a weekend of fishing and getting plastered
