Lucky you getting all the nice rain. I don't think we could take a Hurricane in our present state. The hills are a mess with the bush fires and you know what that means for us when the rain does come - lots of flooding.
Yeah I don't remember ever asking that as a black woman myself, its mainly been black guys I see writing this. I mean heck 'black' skin comes in such a gorgeous array of shades - what's there not to love? Guess this questioning must be a black man thing.
Well without a belief system of some sort I'd probably be an empty shell just existing form day to day - in other words BORING! Thankfully that's not the case. I guess my perceptions of self would come from my life experiences which have been quite varied and interesting which would then impact on the final outcome of who I am today. As for the mask well I've found my to be quite effective to mask my moreside. What can I tell you I'm just being me.
Nope not bored at all. I've been observing a thread here that is starting to remind me of that movie Gladiator, complete with lions, blood thirsty Romans and gore. All that's missing is the guys wearing gladiator outfits.
But that's a pretty slippery slope now isn't it, since I could judge a lot about you from your post - and still be wrong. I'm sure there's more to you than what a few posts could tell.
You see that's where you got me all wrong. Since after all you really don't know me or what I believe or don't believe. And unlike a lot of folks I'm not prone to spend hours trying to convince people about stuff that they aren't likely to care to believe anyway. I can sense a waste of precious time when I see it. Suffice it to say that I believe what I want to and that's good enough for me.
Yes and I bet a few other parts as well. We'll all have big heads cause the brain will be all enlarged from all that thinking while the extremeties like arms and legs will be all shriveled up from lack of use. That should be fun to watch.
Okay ...but er don't some of these women CHOOSE to wear the Burka? If one has a choice not to and one decides to then that's not exactly oppression. There are a lot more issues than just the ban. There are issues of culture, issues of religion, issues of women's right, its not so cut and dried. Its interesting but how many would complain that they were forced to dress a certain way in a strange country when it was okay at home. They might comply because it was the law but still wouldn't be happy.
I understand the security measures but I think there is more in the mortar than the pestle.
I've always admired your pluck John. But I've been counting more greys on the head and its telling me that father time is marching on. Lots more to do in life than worry about dates. I got my kid and other things to keep my plenty busy but its just sad that a site with so much potential and a seeming winning formula gets bombarded by time wasters that makes the journey to the one hit win that much difficult. I know its not suppose to be easy but boy there seem to be some real Everest size obstacles in the way sometimes and scammers are a big part of it.
Well I'm not on as much as I was in my addicted days. I've got other things going on as well in RL. But I understand the frustration, I had pages and pages of scammers with a sprinkling of real folks, its because there are some real folks around that aren't into this crap that I'm still here. I don't think they will be any connecting for me and I can make peace with that, since there are issues of distance, culture, etc....that can also be a hindrance to dating for some. I guess these could also be reasons why some find their boxes empty. Some have been here for YEARS and even with the ever changing scene of folks joining can't seem to make a connection. Why?
RE: can u date a black guy
I bet if more guys on CS dipped themselves in chocolate and then rolled around in some nuts more ladies would bite.
