Perhaps one should look at why the divorce rate is so high? Some people just marry for the wrong reasons. Some people just like being married without thinking is this the right person for me. Some people realise too late that they really want their freedom. Some people expect too much from a marriage and don't know that it really is the beginning of lots of work to make it work. Some marry just to give their kids a name, etc... There are so many reasons and combinations of reasons. Divorce is expensive and emotionally costly yet so many hop into it without fully realising all that they are getting into.

Okaay then. What do I think about the dating thing? I think I don't much care for lots of mind games and drama so I try my best to minimize it in relationships. I realise some like to hedge their bets and I suppose if both are aware of what's really going on then at least no one will be surprized if it doesn't work out. Some just like to be spoilt for choice I guess, to each his own.

And while everyone waits, time ticks slowly away, with none of us getting any younger. If you want something badly enough you usually have to go after it. People face rejection everyday here, sometimes we are the rejectors and sometimes we are the rejectees. What is meant for you can't be for someone else so rejection just means that that person might not have been for you.

Let me tell you what I think. I think our knowledge is limited - if it weren't we would have figured everything out already, they would be nothing else to discover. We are a highly intelligent life form BUT as we acquire MORE knowledge of things we do one of two things, we either use our new found knowledge for good or we use it against ourselves or others. If we found out once and for all that we...just happened one day or if we found out that we were planned and created and placed here - what would that knowledge do for us? How would we see ourselves and others? That is the real question.

Oh and I forgot to mention one more thing. I think the key to all this creation stuff lies within the creations themselves. Once again using the artist perspective, if I do a painting there is much that you can learn about me from observing it. The type of colours I used, the style, the subject matter, etc... each of these things tells you something about the person who created the work, their frame of mind, personality, etc.... Maybe you need to look less to the creator and more to the CREATION for your answers. Every artist leaves a stamp of themselves on their work - a fingerprint so to speak. Might not the same be true for humans. Just a thought.

Its nice to see that you've resolved your belief issues but here's my two cents anyway. As an artist and creative I know what it is to take what would be considered nothing and making something beautiful for others to admire. I was partly responsible for creating my daughter. Now being an intelligent life form I like to create things, so I'm not in the least bit bothered that another intelligent life form might have thought it wonderful to create me from whatever he felt necessary to create me from whether a cell or a rib. Man creates things every day just look at the computer. Maybe being a creator myself gives me a different perspective on things than most. I don't seek to solve every mystery in the Universe, some mysteries are the spice to life. What I am sure of is that I am here, my daughter is here. I neither force my beliefs on others neither do I want their forced on me, believe what you want it your right, as for me I'm happy with the idea of a creator you can call him what you want.
