RE: Thread Speak .....

Oh lord, I think that's kind of sad.
I was often bad but never quite that bad.
dunno

RE: Spartacus

Was on FX or channel 4.
Google, watch online, True Blood season 1.
Tis filthy but has a great story line!

RE: Drinkin at home....

Ah yeah, they're grand til they start going on about work ethic and 5 year plans.
Ya gotta love their ambition at the very least.
I have a play it by ear plan, served me well so far.
=)

RE: Drinkin at home....

My current is yank.
But Irish Mom.
He doesn't drink often but he can hold it very well!

RE: Drinkin at home....

In fairness, I work in a GAA fanatic pub once a week and when we beat them, I had my 30 second hooray and said no more.
It was a great match though.
I think it is possible to want something too much.

RE: Drinkin at home....

As your liver ages and gets battered more and more, it can't process the alcohol damage like once upon a time.
Alarm bells should be ringing.
But I got this queued up!

RE: Drinkin at home....

When Cork beat Dublin, I was half locked just after half time.
I lasted til half 11!
Second winds do come from nowhere, but you're right, I don't remember the transition.

RE: Drinkin at home....

Haha, tis true.
It's disgraceful, last year, I could go for a good 5 hour session.
Now, I last 2 hours and I get sleepy, not even drunk.
No idea what's going on.

RE: Drinkin at home....

I don't know any person in my life who can drink an entire bottle of whiskey.
Ireland's standards must be dropping.

RE: Drinkin at home....

I haven't, not I Didn't.
Ya, 3 bottles and I'm rubbish.
Cheap date.

RE: Drinkin at home....

I didn't finished a hard days work, but I've worked today.
Couple of beers, listening to some music and chatting online, once you don't get aggressive, I think is a grand way to spend an evening.
Who has told you any different?
=)

RE: What do you love?

Pity you live so far away.
Mine needs stringing, not that I can play at all!

RE: What do you love?

That's lovely!

RE: What do you love?

I love Florence and The Machine.
I love being the little spoon.
I love dreaming.
=)

RE: How would your friends describe you ...

Haha!
I'm starting to brainstorm a little.
I would LOVE to make a mockmumentary about the people behind dating site fora, you would definitely be of use!
I'm deadly serious though.

RE: How would your friends describe you ...

Snap!
Haha, well I would pretty much relay the symptoms to my family and get no sympathy, they wouldn't bat an eyelid.
In all my apparent "craziness" I'm an excellent judge of character.
In saying that I've loved a couple of arseholes in my time, but I always knew that they were arseholes.

RE: How would your friends describe you ...

I am highly neurotic and avoidant according to the internet.
I'm O.K with that.
Neurotic doesn't necessarily mean crazy, I think I'd be more highly analytical.
grin

RE: Tuesday night pints

You suck hairy man balls.
I'm knackered and broke.
Seems to be a state of being.
Hope you're having a good one, I'm having a beer.
=)

RE: is he alive

I thought you'd appreciate such nonsensical random references.
I prejudged you.

RE: cork meet

I was like that at my very first meet.
Grand bunch of folks, was just overwhelmed and I found it to be a bit too much for me.
Much prefer a group that can fit around one table, to be honest.

RE: cork meet

Ya, I'm no good for the larger meet ups but have seen a couple of pics from the night and it looked nice and intimate, I must say.
Much more my scene.
Will have to make the next one.
Been ages since I was on the lash with the gang.

RE: cork meet

Were you there?
I say that in a non predatory way, I assure you!
Going mad I missed all the new faces!

RE: Free Eye Test

I too think CS rocks.
I could read it fine?

RE: Do you want kids?

Never wanted kids til current bf.
Things aren't always peachy but if it's ever going to happen it will be with him.
Super clever, tall, gorgeous eyes, couldn't ask for much more.
However, I would ensure they spoke ONLY Corkonian.
My heritage means alot.

RE: You know you're still young when...

You said mickey.
We are no longer friends.

Would it be wrong.....

To report a taxi driver for basically not having even the most basic grasp of the English language?
I feel bad as I know he's trying to make a buck just like everyone else but I had an appointment today that I had to go to, it took me 5 mins before we even left the house to get him to understand the actual place I was going to.
Then he took me to the wrong place, I don't know Dublin very well he had some cop on to pull over, point at me and point at a stranger out the window to ask him for directions...
Added a good 10 mins onto the journey in total, he charged me full fare even though I was adamant that an extra ten mins should be knocked off he kept saying 16 euro please.
I'm a little bit pissed off, I understand that people are new to various countries but I DO think that anyone dealing with the public in a job where basic communication is VITAL some kind of regulation should exist?
Is that too much to ask?

RE: for the ladies: what infuriates you most about a man

Lets, do you want your pity on ice or a straight shot of it?

RE: for the ladies: what infuriates you most about a man

When they don't respond to pity texts.
grin

RE: Introduction

I'm not saying anything.
Gotten right pudgy lately could do with a personal trainer, for free so not ruling anybody out.
dancing

RE: High Horses charging up the moral high ground.

Willy cheese.
(See, this is what to do when one differs in opinion, a childish but inoffensive curse can be interpreted as humour but I really do mean it.)
