Situation: Mice & Rats

When New York had Health Inspectors...recently. -They had a study .
Conclusion: There were at least 3 rats for every person in New York. Even small creatures have no where to go, when we occupied all the land & built everything on it. They are mostly in sewers, sometimes get out in the owners toilets....& mostly in the nice restaurants. ......Watch out! Moonkitten

Common sense (IF ANY YONE HAS ANY), WILL TELL YOU that a "COVER" is usually provided with any toilet combo, when bought. If used, it is common sense (& being polite for those close it... so the under-part doesn`t have to be displayed .... for VIEWING. (WHO WANTS THAT) ??!!
A cover is just what it says it is & is used to not display the inevitable contents, be it dirty waste, or clean water.
End of story.

Common sense is needed to all who use a toilet. (unless you are in a public lavatory).And that is made for either girl or boy...man or woman. Familiar with that???
There is a reason for the design of the toilet....no explanation is needed here.
THERE IS A "COVER" along with it, when bought or installed.- IT GOES ON TOP OF THE TOILET.
-Not for a man nor a woman to argue over. No one is right here. Just cover what you`ve used it for..
.be polite, & considerate & quit arguing. It`s really stupid to have a say so, or an argument.
NO ONE IS RIGHT OT WRONG!!!!!!
Have an argument over a war for God`s sake, not a toilet.
These arguments are futile & should NOT BE: he said or she said.
Just use it for the INTENT of "COVERING" what you`ve used. -That is WHY you get one with the toilet..
Am I talking to children here, or adults? It`s easier to tell THEM to share.
-IT`s A DAMN COVER. You cover something-like a blanket or the top of something ---(-to be used for a reason).

Traveling man (Dating One)

Since I have been on any dating site, (which is too long) -The guys who take up my precious time, are the ones who travel for work. (supposedly). Men like this start a relationship right away. First they romance you (a woman)
then write emails about what they like in a woman, & how you are the greatest thing since rice pudding & sliced bread. This goes on until it is almost completed. A possible thing about getting stuff all wrapped up & ready to retire. Except ......ONE THING. Either they need a plane ticket (The place -some country) won`t accept their credit card, or they lost their equipment, tools, etc. or they don`t have enough cash, & the place theu`re won`t accept American checks or our money. Now...you would think a man would prepare these things ahead of time, down to the dollar & extra, in case of an emergency. They expect you can understand they did, but not quite.
So, I ran across at least 16, of these wonderful scammers & frauds.
I`ve gotten so I let them go on until I feel they are ready to come home, & I am 100% right.
..
Been asked for a broken drill, for OFF SHORE drilling. ("Please..I don`t want to lose my job. Send me $250,000. so I can buy a new one".) -so is this their problem? Is the "company not have extra equipment?
It certainly is NOT my problem.

Then there is the guy who can`t make enough money, doesn`t calculate the right way, & can`t get home.
("Please send me enough money to come home...I miss you & can`t wait to meat you. I need you to send $1200 for a plane ticket."). Again, It isn`t my problem.

This sort of thing should be against the law....asking for money. Because some women actually believe these men.
Some woman was on the Dr, Phil show, she was actually shown how much casjh she sent to a man who admitted he was a fraud. But he needed the money, & she said she loved him . And she still kept sending it to him. Can anyone be that desperate for love, or is it just some needy thing she has in her head. She doesn`t help this thing from happening.

I have even said things about my financial statis, talking about my common bill over-lapping until the following month. They know this or ignore it, & push on... I`ve been told, "barrow it from a friend, or the bank".
THAT is not even desperate to a fraud thing on their part. Those men push to the limit to see how far they can go.

WOW !! I al but wore my delete button out. Prepare yourselves Ladies, when it sounds false & too sugary, it`s not you he wants...it`s green. cash or something material...it sure isn`t us!!!! BE AWARE !

You bet your loving heart , as anyone you know or don`t know is near. It is favor & a servant.

Listen I had many encounters with someone either overheard me or just looked at me, that I do or don`t know.
Someone gave me $20 after walking away from a conversation they heard me say at a store. They would not accept coins to pay for my gas bill...which was all I had. A woman walked away, but came back, & stuck 20 under my purse though I didn` ask for anything or didn`t want to take it...she insisted/

Then an incident with someone from church I went to. This person owned a Bible store. I was again on my last leg, because I supported my 5 kids alone. I was cleaning house, usually throwing bills, etc on the table, & off the cuff....I laid my arm across bills on the table. I needed $350 for the lot rent, & the utility bills. It says to pray with thanksgiving. I just asked the Lord, saying that I knew he would take care of the needy, & humble. So I said thank you for the small things, my kids being a blessing, & I also know you will take car of this. (it was on a Saturday morning. I answered a phone call, & it was from the man who owned the store. I thought in my head he wanted to know why I wasn`t at a Bible class, because he said he wanted to bring me an envelope.
I went to the door, He said he & his wife had other chores....& gave me an envelope....I told him Thank you but didn`t know what it was he gave me. All he said was he put off putting buying storm windows.
I didn`t now what he meant. He just said -just prase the Lord. So I did, laying the envelope on my table until later. I thought it was a not saying they were missing me at Bible study. I was tired, so I slumped myself on a chair when the envelope broke open, & $500 fell out.All the money I need was about the same amount. I called him & asked him why.he gave this to me, as it was the very same day..telling him I couldn`t pay it back. How did he know??? He just said, something told me you needed some money.

A dear friend of mine kept insisting I take some money, to pay it back when I could, to fix my car. TWICE.
Another time someone left $100 in a folder & signed it Mary. My boss said there wasn`t anyone here by that name.

Then, this is like a sap my prayer time. My son had back surury twice with many complications, then attracted Hep C. The CEO (was on the news lately laughing about the pills my son had to take raising the price 500%.
One pill cost $700. for treatment....I was beside myself from worry when he said his liver was mushy & he couldn`t pay for any more than 3 pills. One Friday Night I was led to take my own communion, & had an intense prayer. I asked for a solution to my son`s delema, with anything that would help, & of course with thanksgiving...WOW!! I can only say the Lord is powerful & sure of hearing someone. The very next day...was Saturday. My son called me at 10 in the morning, He said, "MOM" HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING.
A PHARMISUTICAL
COMPANY CALLED ME & IS GIVING ME ENOUGH FOR WEEKS OF TREATMENT OF $37.000.

NOW. if you don`t ever believe their is higher power than we are.....keep this on hand somehow.

Running on thin skin.

Looks like some sites prefer to change their agenda, by charging money, instead of helping someone find a mate.
I started about 5 yrs. ago & was on several sites, (Like about 8).
But most men wanted money, as much as $250,000. And I`m sure that most of those men, while boasting about what all their supposed "CONTRACTS" were so important, they were in another country, & meant to mislead. So I wasted a lot of yrs. that way.
I happen to be an ordinary woman. I waited too lone to find someone that would be a good match for me. But didn`t. I thought I did the right things as a single parent whose children depended solely on me...a woman. So I raised them without help, but suffered doing it...& let my own comfort & desires stay in the background. I can bet a lot of women where doing the same.
I found it wasn`t for nothing....I am proud of my kids.
I`m not sorry I waited. But I have to say...it was so lonely, to just concentrate on work. I wonder if I should bake it in....& if there is still a chance for me. I still have those desires of the heart, mind & soul. Tell me what you think. Is it too late????

Never Too Late !

Always thought, why have I been in this for 4 yrs. They just wizzed by without me thinking or asking>"should I or shouldn`t I give up?
After all, I am now 82, waited so long because of trust issues, & took long raising my 5 kids, with no child support, so I started later than most. I met about 500+ men on about 5 different sites. Weeded them down eventually. It didn`t matter which site they were...I kid you NOT!! About 80% seem to want something other than real life desires , like a relationship. They have all started something with me,. Then I started noticing all the flowering words, find out they are in another country. Have the same words about their life: "I had 2 kids & a wife, but lost here to cancer, etc.
Then it happens...they ask for money. Thousands of dollars. Evenif I do say in my profiles, I live simply on a small amount of Social Security, enough to pay my bills. But the INSIST, even so...borrow it from a friend, please get a loan....I`ll pay you 50% interest back. WOW!!! Who would keep going or feed into that. The last 3 men said the same thing after 4 emails. That God for that delete tab, & the SCAM button. I just will delete them when my intuition kicks in. So beware.
I don`t get on this site, but keep it for my stories on the BLOGS.
I am not keen on anyone with too much distance, but met someone here, that I will email. He is older than I prefer. But I will give it a chance. Because I deserve happiness ,even if I am older, I have the same desires as any other woman. Want my prince....so we will see????!!!!! Good searching for ya`ll . (moonkitten)

REALITY EXPERINCES

I want to share this with people who have had some really hard times.

I brought my just born (Nov.19,1963)son, John, home, from the hospital....
on Nov 22, 1963.(same day that Pres. Kennedy was shot,in his head ).
My son was in an accident, on Feb 15th,1987, as a result from a drunk driver. He had a head injury...He was pronounced brain dead on Feb. 19, 1987.

In 1974, there was a triple murder. <y ex husband was bound with a vacuum cleaner cord, & was shot in the chest & head.
He also died of a brain injury.(the person that did the killing, was responsible for 7 more people that were killed in the course of that year.

Because of the economy, 6 years ago, my other youngest son, experienced a shot that went off accidently ,by 2 young thugs holding one gun each, to my son`s head. He bent his head just in time to NOT die of a brain injury, when he lowered his head..the one guy paniced & left. But his head was grazed behind his left ear, having to get 14 stiches. This was on September 19. 2007. He just had moved to Nevada for a job at MGM.

I think it was such an ironic thing about the number 19. And of course the number 22. Moonkitten

Sometimes, a woman gets into a position of authority & it enters your life unexpectedly, like when you have to raise kids without child support. I would think it is admirable. I had to, & I was proud of myself, & it worked for me, no matter what someone else thought. I usually enclude the times I did it & why in my profiles.-moonkitten

Kitt- Thanks for the remarks. I appreciate it when someone posts understanding stuff. I always try to be honest, & use my profile in a way that I don`t try to "reel" someone in with false info. It`s better to tell how you feel,up front,& even remark when someone treats you badly...sharing is a good think when honesty can come first.. The rest doesn`t count when someone doesn`t recipricate. I try to follow the golden rule. If that doesn`t work-nothing will. I spent my whole life like that...I won`t change for anyone.

Some men still discriminate older women that want real love & a relationship..more so on this site than any other.What are they afraid of??I did date a 58 yr.old man for 5 months,just barely got to know him..it was getting serious, then he had a massive stroke & passed away.Hello-I`m older & still here. What I get are a lot of views from men here,but the men from other ethnic countries seem to want older women more than American. What do men from the U.S. hope to gain, by being on this site. Well, after so many emails & views from men on the other site I`m on (Senior People Meet)-I found a Latino guy, that reminds me of "Shreck" He`s so gentle, kind,& attentive, but he drinks ...I just drink occasionally-a Black Russian mix or a Fruity wine. IU can`t handle being with some that drinks too much ...he said he doesn`t think it`s wrong. We disagree, so I let him go to do his thing.Ho-Hum -so I will be looking,(even though I have experienced 15 scammers-ot that Latin guy) once again, considering if I am attracted to someone, because there was only one love in my life that keep me looking, never had any love in 2 marriages. If I`m too picky, I can`t go younger than 56,he has to like the wisdom & experience of an older woman that I bring to the plate, as he should bring younger ideas. Just sharing.-Ness (moonkitten)

Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences. It was a sad thing, seeing a very strong 46 yr old man, in the prime of his life...being a Marine, very generous, & loving to all. I remember that he promissed to fix a woman`s car, that he didn`t know very well, & hadn`t enough money...to give him. It couldn`t be fixed, not being wealthy himself, he chose to give her $2000 for another car. If your are in Michigan...it was in the local paper (The Argus)

---Of course I am meant well...Why would I not talk about how important it is that we tell our kids we love them,we never know what can happen....one day they`re here & the next ..they may not be. And if not for any source of communicating, how could I share the things that have happened to me, or my friend, that some people are empathetic to... I need that , don`t we all?? ---Thanks for sharing that. My daughter missed being in a fire...Her house burnt down to the ground, while she was in chiurch, with her 3 kids & her then, husband. They said she was responsible & had all kinds of problems after that, with ALLSTATE taking all the time in the world to get her a plavce to live, with her children (3 yrs.) They gave her a small moble trailer with holes in it & snow was coming in. She wasn`t even home, & it was a wire behind the stove, & nothing was cooking on it!!! I coullldn`t hlp her at all, because my sone died the night before it happened to her.THe ins. co. wanted her kids to wear the clothing they salvaged, that smelled of smoke.Moonkitten.

I had a post for grief & the loss of children. -Nothing is worse that losing a child. I just got a call from one of my closest friends, Thursday. She had 3 children...all older. One in particular, Carl Schomer Jr. lost his life on Wednesday morning, he called 911, but the smoke inhalled was too much, & a fire started too quickly. The firemen arrived too late to save him, in his apartment, atop a pole barn...in Michigan, a few miles from Gregory,a sma. town. He was burned beyond recognition. No one know how or when anyone will be taken. But, I have to say, whomever the children are that are your`s,---hold them close, say you love them any opportunity you can. Moonkitten

JUST THE RIGHT GUY!

WELL- After posting a few ,but ordinary ideas & views....I emailed a Hispanic/Latino man (58), that emailed me first. After I got to know him...my usual insecureities kicked in..could have sabotached what keeps me from getting wht I want in the right man. But HE wouldn`t give up. I even said he`d have to consider my age (77)..& he didn`t care about that -AT ALL!! Well, we`ve been together since January, & everything is more than good. He is exactly what I want in a man... sincere, loving ,kind, mature & generous. I could say more, but you don``t need to know everthing!!! So-for those who doubted & made me feel like I was a skid mark on a road, & a little nuts, for wanting a younger guy...YOU were wrong!!!!. And for those that are like me...hang in there. moonkitten

Lead them to my profile..if that`s the truth. Most hide pretty well...then have to be pried up, led by the hand. Then, they say Wow...didn`t know there was a life out there!!

I`ve been on this site, on & mostly off, because there are no men in the age group between 55-70, that are healthy & fit.-Especially from Michigan. I think this site has a lot to offer, though it isn`t advertized enough, & it`s free, with all kinds of thing to post, etc. I`m now in the last quarter of my life wanting to meet someone that I can relate to.I have met a lot of men on other sites, but they always turn out to be too undecent or don`t ever know what they want or they are game players. Where are the good guys? Is it just me, or are there more women asking the same thing??

Are Men really OK with all that fake stuff out there.?

Can men really tell if women are wearing false eyelashes, or hair extensions, or have implants in their breasts, or other places. Does it really count, at first glance -or don`t they really care, when it`s a first impression, when they look at a woman for the first time? Remember, how everyone used to say the first impression is a lasting one.

His is just important informantion.- Please don`t respond or comment. -I didn`t see any posted comment on my view about scammers,before, which I experienced at least 11 on all the dating sites I`ve been on for almost 2 yrs. (The men that seemed to be scammmers I posted about...some turned out to be nice men, though having some rough patches, some admited to asking for money from a woman, & I blocked them,& contacted any administation, on all the sites I was on. Those stories of mine did not not require any comment or thoughts from anyone. Then I found, after I met a few men thinking they weren`t ligit, that I changed my mind, didn`t want to take chances..because, I thought it over, & thought I could do better than that, so could all women. I`m worth more than that, too.(not money wise). I`m certainly not stupid...one only has to read between the lines, & be savy when some tries to scam a woman ( or vise versa) The words are varied, though always scripted,& way too much info is given from them, from the get-go. And they want the same back. They start out by romancing you, as though you were the best thing since sliced bread, wanting a woman,just like yourself, want marriage ,etc. Then, they say in detail, they mostly are widowers, with a child (5-16), that travel with them...usually have contracts with the govenment, anything from solar panels. to freezers, etc.Will be at the UK, then travel to Nigeria- And the emphasis is they have the biggest company in the world. Then they are in in for the "kill"-no one accepts their industrial credit cards, or they`re stuck on the street, & no on will take them in with their child, because, someone scammed them (???)& they will extract your maternal sad feeling for their child -being out of money, & it would cost then their job (wanting empathy). They will ask you for money, ask you to borrow from a friend, or get a loan from your bank -Don`t be fooled..Don`t be so desperate for love.Men are getting more enthused, & more varied, trying to hide the fact they are scamming you. It seems like it`s the age old question. - I think so much younger for my age, & I guess I am stuck with the title "cougar" prefer men that are younger. But yes,there are good men...they just are outlived by women, by 6 -12 yrs..... & that leaves more women than men.(check the Senior Ctrs. out, if you are over 50...I worked in one, for 15 yrs. -found there to be 10-30 women to just inder 2-5 men. However, I`d love to find a decent man to keep me warm instead of that electric blanket. (And I`d also teach a man how to live healthier than some men do, nowadays).Good Luck to all, that want that wonderful relationship, like I do.-moonkitten

Funny...how different sites are chosen by some men. Having received up to 40 views on another site..& none going on here, at this one. I realize (as I used to have jobs concerning statistics,between the ages of men & women...women outlive men,by at least 6-12 yrs).... that`s why I am going backwards , when I look at profiles, for the age of a man that seems more fit. I also noticed that some men, don`t care to take care of themselves, as far as looks go, maybe have smoked, lost their vigor, & take medication for high blood levels. They don`t shave much, they get over weight, & still think they can attract a woman , way younger than they are (????)-Go figure! I am in the best shape I`ve ever been, & my positive attitude keeps me thinking like a much younger person. (What you see is what someone will get. I wish I could think like I want a casual thing, but I happen to be a traditional person, & keep looking with hope. -moonkitten
