RE: Threats & Intimidation

If you mentioned a company by name that is in breach of the site rules, could be used as a form of advertising, and as this site is free, they rely on ads for income to support this site.

So I would think far more likely that the site deleted your group for breaching their rules, why should you make or appear to make money from a free dating site? That makes far more sense than some company bothering to seek out CS and request your groups removal.

RE: Threats & Intimidation

Can you give an example of whatever you are talking about? As in all the time I have been here I have never seen a thread removed due to some company disliking the contents.

RE: How do people on CS define you?

Crosses Australia off "Next trip" listmoping

RE: How do people on CS define you?

Do people define others on CS? I have no idea, I do know it is natural for people to form opinions based on how or what some write on Blogs and Forum threads, but unless you actually know a person and know them really well, I cannot see how anyone can define another.

RE: This is really crazy..........

Makes you wonder how anyone so stupid could actually get a job at the DOT. Maybe a server at Denny's would be more appropriatedunno

Cause that is the best reply everthumbs up

RE: Putting an end to things

The best way to end in a forum, especially a forum to which logic is far from the argument, is for people to quite simply walk awaygrin
It is impossible to debate or even discuss with a closed minded audience.
One of the side effects of extremism.

RE: I owe 11,700 USDs remaining on a 2015 Zero Emission Audi 3.0 Turbo Diesel.

Okay, can't disagree with that lollaugh

RE: I owe 11,700 USDs remaining on a 2015 Zero Emission Audi 3.0 Turbo Diesel.

Why would anyone spend $45K on a second hand vehicle that you can buy for under $30k all across the USA, and what happens when the powers above, decide to stop selling Diesel altogether?
By a bicycle, cheap and renewable energy, easy maintenance, and you can boast how you are helping reduce your carbon footprint. Turn the audi into a playroom for the grandkids. Win win win situationcheers

RE: France abusing (child)migrants.

I have never assumed anything about you, I certainly have an opinion, based on your posts over the years, as for being a Zionist, not sure you even understand the term as you sure don't seem to understand much about Islam or refugees lol
England is not my birth country and not even close to any civil war lol, that you think this just reaffirms my opinion about you. I doubt you have even visited the UK, so your opinion means F.A. to me.

RE: France abusing (child)migrants.

You obviously have a passion for your birth country, and a passion for the ending of Islam in said country, so makes me wonder, why do you live on the other side of the world rather than in your own country and fight for what you believe in?
Maybe as a "keyboard warrior" it lessens the guiltdunno

From Wiki.
"Hawaii is by far the largest banana producer in the United States, followed by Florida. Banana plantation in Hawaii has followed a descending trend, from 13,181 mmt in 2000 to 8,090 mmt in 2010. Hawaii produces mainly the conventional Cavendish assortment and the Hawaiian apple banana, which are sold in the local markets due to high employment and land expenses. The chief US banana exporter is Florida, which produces mostly Thai and cooking bananas (Bluggoe type). In addition, US banana producers are looking for opportunities in the organic and speciality segments of the banana market in Florida, Texas, California, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, and Georgia. Banana cultivation in Florida has been about 500 acres, valued at roughly 2 million US $.

Other states that remain popular locations for independent banana farming, which usually only export on a highly domestic level, are Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Arizona, California, Nevada, and Maryland. These states produce a variety depending on the region, including Cavendish, Bluggoe, Ice Cream, Goldfinger, Lady Finger, Red Dacca, Latundan, Pisano Awak, and Balbisinia subtypes.

Independent banana cultivation in the United States is diverse, with some areas of the country able to sustain fields of a wide variety of banana trees perennially or near-perennially, similar to a plantation system. This is most notable (outside of Florida and Hawaii) in Texas, Louisiana, California, Arizona, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and coastal North Carolina. In other areas of the country (northern Arkansas, southern Missouri, mountain Tennessee, southern Kansas, the far southern Midwest and along the Ohio river, Kentucky, and Virginia,) containing a climate similar to that of the banana growing region of inland south-central and eastern China (Sichuan, Anhui, Zhejiang, Hubei, Jiangsu, Henan, Jiangxi, Hunan, Chongqing, and Guizhou provinces,) banana cultivation is more seasonal.

If independent cultivation was counted towards a nation's total of banana production, its estimated that the United States would rank at about the 4th or 5th country for banana production in the world.

Bananas are also grown commercially in Puerto Rico, Guam, and American Samoa."

Don't be so modest, you know you are the expert on fake news. Good Night

I believe Google is accessible in your part of the world, you might give it a try, it can answer many questions, I am pretty sure my answer would be the same.

Sitting here looking at a bottle of Calvados and the remains of some delicious Brie, both from Nimes, debating whether to have a quick bite and drink or go to bed, 4:30am here and 24 degrees.
so if I stop replying, I have either fallen asleep or fallen on the floor lol

RE: France abusing (child)migrants.

Yep all good here, had an excellent dinner with some visiting scholars, one from Barcelona, one from Nimes and one from Geneva, each brought some local wine/ cheese, so now I can't sleep lol

The way I see it is that Europe is having to cope with the direct result from the interference many countries had in Middle Eastern affairs going back to Pre WWII, what the UK and USA started with good intentions has collapsed, and then made worse with further messing around by US and Russia, therefore some responsibility needs to be taken by these countries.

Having said that, there also has to be limits, the UK is not a big country unlike France or Germany, so there cannot be the same limits applied to each one. What I don't understand is why the EU cannot sit down and work out a realistic way to take in and support these refugees EQUALLY across ALL member countries.
All the infighting and backstabbing is not solving the problem, it's making it worse.

The second problem as I see it, is the cultural differences, you cannot take someone from a third world environment and place them into a 1st world environment and expect assimilation without some education and instruction, Merkle open the doors without any regard to this, and by the time she realised her mistake it was too late.

I believe we (Europe) can and should help war refugees, but it needs to be carried out in a sensible and organised form.

Until the bureaucracy of Brussels is dismantled I cannot see that happening and the situation will just get worse.

RE: Does anyone enjoy working weekends as well as weekdays ?

I often work weekends, as I give lectures in different places, fortunately, where I work is very understanding, so as my outside work has increased, so my workload here on campus has reduced. I get paid to travel and enjoy seeing many places of interest, and my Uni get promoted nationally, so attracts better students.
But I am looking to move to a job with fewer hours, retirement is coming, however, I love my job and never want to stop lol.

RE: I owe 11,700 USDs remaining on a 2015 Zero Emission Audi 3.0 Turbo Diesel.

Never understood the paying huge monthly payments for a car, if you can't afford to pay cash why buy it? Get something you can afford, that way you get better discount/extras and you can sell/scrap do whatever you want with it. Your car is valued at around 26k I would guess, so trading in for a new same model is going to mean paying maybe $800 a month, personally I would sell it, pay off the excess finance and use the remainder as a deposit on a car that is cheaper, after all a car is only a means to get from A to B conveniently.

In the UK there is a scheme whereby you pay a large deposit, and a very small monthly payment, then after a set number of miles or two years, you return the car and take home a new one, obviously there are certain rules applied, such as regular servicing and not excessive mileage, it started for businesses and progressed to private ownership. But once started you really can never get out of the contract, so limits you to one brand of Vehicle, unless the original dealer sells more than one brand of course.

Credit where credit is due.

According to some analysts, Trump gained nothing, all exactly the same as ten years ago, it now all depends on further negotiations, Trump made greater concessions, but you have to speculate to accumulate.
Time will tell, too early to make a real judgement IMO.

Should there be a license to use the internet?

"Last April, Twitter sued the federal government. At issue was a demand from the Department of Homeland Security that Twitter reveal the user(s) behind an account critical of the Trump administration. The government withdrew its request the next day, and the issue seemingly drew to a close. But this is not the end.
The DHS request came on the heels of another Trump administration move that could be viewed as hostile to internet freedom. On April 2, President Trump signed a bill passed last month releasing internet service providers (ISPs) like Verizon and AT&T from having to protect consumer data, in effect jeopardizing people’s privacy and opening them up to surveillance. And FCC Chair Ajit Pai is planning to weaken net neutrality rules, which would allow ISPs to create fast lanes for preferred internet traffic while slowing other traffic sources.
“If we don’t have net neutrality, the ISPs could slow people who are talking about, for example, going to a rally,” says Kate Forscey, associate counsel at Public Knowledge, a free speech organization. “It’s not just about streaming Netflix—it’s about fundamental engagement in a democratic environment.” Against this backdrop, the DHS’s attempt to strong-arm Twitter looks less like a defeat and more like a testing of the waters."

Credit where credit is due.

Absolutely, maybe even worth a Nobel Prize if it all comes to fruition, time will tell.

Still don't like the man giggle

Should there be a license to use the internet?

thumbs up cheers

Should there be a license to use the internet?

Oh that is so sadlaugh, but why stop there? Why not tell everyone about the lies you told and how when I exposed you, you tried to turn your friends against me?

You have a problem with the truth, for example, a few months ago you discussed about Tax reform Trump may do, that he would help you as you were in the top 7% of earners, you then later on boasted about buying a top of the range SUV, finally a couple of weeks back you started talking about how you cannot stop working as you needed the money. "Right now I am tired of working full time just so I can continue traveling but if I stop working I would live very miserly and that is not an option that is favorable for me." From one of your blogs.

You even said you may have to live in the Philippines as if that was a step backwards, shame on you for turning your back on your birthplace. Please stay in the USA, I may even help finance you if it means those of us who love the Philippines can live without your presence.

So yet again I have pointed out your lies, and you wonder why I have no respect for your credibility.

You really think any of your posts affect me? Not really, other than as entertainment to see you blushlaugh

I didn't ask you to post on my thread, that was your decision so don't make a fuss when it backfires onto you

Should there be a license to use the internet?

You are free to express whatever opinion you want, I am free to ignore those opinions.

But please refrain from using derogatory terms on my thread, thank you. LetUS knows no better, but you on the other hand, are always saying how bad it is to badmouth others. Unless it only works one waylaugh
