Took the VIA train from Calgary to Vancouver, a few months later took it all the way from Vancouver to Toronto, then to Banff.

Which is why China et al have decided to place certain sanctions in place while still allowing food and medicine to be sent to NK, these countries are in fact, helping to stop a war. Unlike the USA who are pushing all the buttons to provoke one.

I don't need to do any research , You stated you saw the accounts from your daughter, doesn't matter if they are i public domain, it is still illigal for a legal company to allow any outsider to see a clients private paperwork.

The point being that heavy sanctions were in place to try and stop WMD, but in the end a war was still created. So Sanctions don't always stop wars, in fact sometimes they lead directly to a real war.

Absolutely, but one also needs to ask the question as to whether other less drastic measures be used to avoid a war, such as the USA withdrawing all their military away from Asia.

The countries you mentioned are imposing sanctions, just not as extreme as other countries. The reason being that if every country implemented the full sanctions as suggested by some, the population of NK would be decimated. Many countries believe the murdering of millions by starvation is not civilised.
The sanctions that are being held up by the countries you mentioned are components that could be used for weapons etc. These countries are supplying food and medicines. China and India have both increased there sanctions but remain convinced that stopping food and medicine is wrong, as that only affects the innocent not the people in power.

Time will tell if this is right or wrong I guess.

Working, end of term Exams to give and mark, then I will have a 6 weeks holiday travelling over Jan/February. Philippines, UK, Spain, Italy and Hong Kong, back to China 2nd March. Can't wait, been a long semester this year.

Everyone has internet in China, in fact, the Chinese use the internet far more than most other countries seeing as they pay for just about everything via their mobile phones and the internet banking system.
However, there are restrictions on access certain sites outside of the Chinese mainland, such as Google, Youtube, Facebook. But outside of the mainland like Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tibet they can access just the same as you, in fact more than you, because they are not restricted from sites that contain pirated music or movies.

I changed over to wire because the Chinese government are slowly stopping access to Skype, they believe it is used to organise anti-government propaganda.
Wire is a bit clumsy to use, but has good video and clearer voice than skype, worth playing with and learning how to use, IMO.

Quite the opposite, I believe China learnt a lot of lessons from supporting Pol Pot and his despicable regime. So much so that China is very very reluctant to get involved with another fanatical leader.
