RE: Burn the Catholic traitor

Are you sure they executed him?

Most history books fail to mention that he flung himself off the death frame, and broke his own neck, rather than suffer the debowling while still alive.

According to the Encyclopedia Brittanica.

RE: Deja Vu - Be honest - Have u ever experienced a moment of repetition - Ever ?

That is not DeJa Vu, that is premonition, very different, Deja Vu is when we see something we believe we have seen before, very common, it is possibly the brain having a reboot, so there is a time lapse between the visual and memory. The mind is so complex it is not sorprising that sometimes it has a hiccup

RE: Burn the Catholic traitor

Being any religious persuasion would not have changed the fact he tried to murder the King of England while being an English subject, therefore he was indeed a traitor.

It is a sad fact that most English people really don't know the history of Guy Fawkes, and why an effigy is burnt on a bonfire on the 5th of November.
It was only after the C of E changed the ruling that the effigy was changed from the Pope to Fawkes, to stop street fighting.
The whole affair was a religious fight, Catholics against Protestants, and it would seem mankind has learnt nothing from history. moping

RE: THE URANIUM DEAL WITH RUSSIA SHOULD BE A CRIME

Yet you have accused her, based on unproven facts and hearsay, too late to now state nothing criminal or illegal.
You hate the Clintons, that is very obvious from your posts, and that hatred only sees what you want to see.

I dislike Hillary, in the same way I dislike Trump, but I DON"T hate either of them, and that is why I can read, check and understand ALL the information. I do not have a hidden agenda.

YOU brought up the subject of China, to try and belittle me, I responded and you immediately twisted my post to say I was comparing China to other countries. All the personal attacks do little to strengthen your credibility.

None of this has anything to do with the thread topic, so what actual evidence has been found to prove or even show, there was corruption, bribery, illegal or otherwise?

Using loopholes to gain advantages in business is a common practice, Trump is a master at finding loopholes. If the Clintons did anything illegal, that needs to be proven and they should be punished, I would fully support that.
At the same time, if nothing is found, then they should be allowed to continue their lives unaffected by all the dirt being thrown around right now.

RE: Re-incarnation - Is it possible ?

Around 7% of the world's population believe in reincarnation and that is just Buddhists, that number would increase as many others also believe, so there has to be some possibility it happens.
Best to have an open mind.

RE: Trump -Target of Mueller's Investigation

So even more reason to make sure of his facts, thank you for confirming my post.

RE: THE URANIUM DEAL WITH RUSSIA SHOULD BE A CRIME

You obviously didn't read my post, I didn't compare China to any other country.

I stated that Switzerland is a corrupt thieving country, and that is a proven fact.

You keep telling me to read books based on conspiracy and unproven facts, yet your statement "modern day China, more than almost any other country in the world, severely restricts it's citizens freedom of speech and expression" this shows me that your opinions are based wholly on media impressions of China, so how about you visit China? See for yourself what living in this country is like?
Freedom of speech is alive and well here, in fact, I can say/speak about far more here than in the UK, there are restrictions on internet, and restrictions on creating groups to overthrow the government, but individuals can and do speak out against government rulings/decisions.

You also need to understand the culture, which is very different to western culture, Asian people are incredibly loyal and proud of their countries, and so they rarely want to speak out against their leaders.

Finally, just because someone lives in a country that you don't understand, is no reason to think that person has a blinkered ideology. For your information, I am widely travelled, I have lived/worked all over the world, including North America/South America, Africa, Russia, Ukraine, Asia and almost every EU country.
It is not me that is narrow minded!

RE: Trump -Target of Mueller's Investigation

It has to be a possibility, but Mueller is a clever chap, he couldn't get to such high positions otherwise, so he would take anything they say and analyse it, cross check it, find definitive proof before using whatever info was given. If they lie in a law court, they could face perjury, and that would/could open another can of worms, if proven to have lied.

Mueller is in a position where he HAS to prove without any possible doubt, doing so may lead to the arrest of prominent people, and even the tiniest hole in the investigation would destroy not only any charges placed, but also destroy Mueller's own credibility and thus destroy him.

RE: Trump -Target of Mueller's Investigation

I really have no interest in whether the Clintons are imprisoned or not, I don't fully trust either of them, but I have checked and checked and can find nothing that would implicate Mueller as out to destroy anyone, other than to find the truth.

It is those who may be implicated in that truth that want Mueller discredited, and, ao course their supporterssigh

Time will no doubt show who did what, but the fanatics on both sides will never accept the truth, whatever that may be.

RE: Day od the dead parade in México (November 1st and 2nd)

Interesting the dates coincide with the western Halloween, an ancient festival corrupted by Christianity, that also started as a way to show respect to the dead.

RE: I'm in the process of writing a SOMETHING! And I'm wondering if you all might give me some feedback?

thumbs up I felt the same, but have to admit I only read the first post, skimmed the others as it just seemed to repeat an opinion. The first thought that came to my head was "What qualifications/experience/knowledge does the author have to make such statements"?

RE: Trump -Target of Mueller's Investigation

A lot of misinformation has been bandied about, started by the conspiracy website "intellihub", who published a very misleading story in June this year.
Hillary Clinton requested FBI Dir. Mueller deliver highly enriched uranium to the Russians in 2009 in secret ‘plane-side tarmac meeting
New Clinton-Mueller Russian uranium ties surface in latest Wikileaks release”

So I looked further and low and behold it is true, however, not exactly as the misinformation portrayed.

"On behalf of the U.S. government, Robert Mueller delivered a sample of highly enriched uranium confiscated from smugglers in Georgia to Russian authorities for forensic examination in 2009."

However, the reason behind the handover is not published on the intellihub website, they don't want the truth to be read lol.

“There was nothing nefarious in the transfer of the ten-gram sample, which was done at the request of Russian law enforcement and with the consent of the government of Georgia, whose agents had participated in its confiscation.”

It was, in fact, a three country international criminal investigation into stolen Uranium. And nothing even close to criminal intent by those involved, as rumoured by certain right wing fanatics.

Above was published in several media sources, but seems to have been overlooked by those who wish to spread rumour and misinformation.

Hense the reason why Mueller is heading the investigation and does not need to stand down, he did nothing wrong. FACT.

RE: THE URANIUM DEAL WITH RUSSIA SHOULD BE A CRIME

well, it is hardly surprising that you would discredit a source that has shown your infamous sources to be right wing hate groups with little or no tolerance towards minority groups.

Interestingly, many worldwide media groups cite SPLC as a credible source.
So I will stick with believing a group that shows up both left and right wing lies and bias.

Oh and a google search came up with this as the number one hit
"The SPLC's classification and listings of hate groups and extremists (organizations and people that, in its assessment, "attack or malign an entire class of people, typically for their immutable characteristics")are considered authoritative by academic and media sources"

RE: Air Quality in China means 760k premature deaths there annually and 20% less solar power.

The top ten solar power countries by Gigawatts

10. Pakistan (10GW)
9. Australia (12.2GW)
8. France (12.8GW)
7. United Kingdom (14.2GW)
6. Italy (22.6GW)
5. Germany (48.4GW)
4. India (57.4GW)
3. Japan (63.3GW)
2. United States (85.3GW)
1. China (130.4GW)

China is trying to stay away from Nuclear, because of the problems associated with earthquakes, so wind/solar makes more sense.

RE: Air Quality in China means 760k premature deaths there annually and 20% less solar power.

From the Chemical and Engineering News 26th June 2017.
"The bad news about air quality in China is well known. Almost every winter, as temperatures cool in the north of the country and homes need to be heated, China makes headlines around the world for the poor quality of its air. A particularly bad episode last December was dubbed Airpocalypse.
During Airpocalypse, several cities in northern China reported air pollution readings that were off the scale. Hundreds of flights out of the capital, Beijing, were cancelled. Schools were closed. And municipal governments declared a red alert on the smog, which affected nearly 500 million people. More recently, in May, vehicular and industrial emissions combined with a sandstorm to again send pollution levels off the charts in Beijing.
But the headlines and ominous pictures distract attention from a positive trend. Chinese authorities are doing more and more to control air pollution, and the effort is starting to pay off. Despite sustained economic growth, rising electricity generation, and increasing numbers of cars on the road, air quality in major Chinese cities—including Beijing—is slowly starting to improve."

And just for fun, lets look at your list ......"guns don't kill and rental trucks don't kill and knives don't kill, box cutters don't kill, fertilizer doesn't kill."

How many from your list are actually designed to kill and nothing else?

RE: Air Quality in China means 760k premature deaths there annually and 20% less solar power.

Yet you don't comment on my post relating to totally to the topic, preferring to pick up on a reply to Conrad. Okay let us get back to the topic

Why condemn China for taking over the pollution the USA caused while at the same time refuse to offer help or support to combat that pollution?

How about you and the rest of the world pay three times the amount for goods manufactured in your own countries, and stop buying from China, that would soon remove almost all pollution from China.

Countries want cheap goods, but at the same time refuse to make them themselves. Greed for cheap goods is the cause of pollution, and as soon as that greed is stopped, so will pollution.

RE: Air Quality in China means 760k premature deaths there annually and 20% less solar power.

I didn't imply anything, I stated facts. That those facts may cause offence is outside my control, the truth often hurts.
