China is far from being perfect, like all countries, they make mistakes. By western standards China does do some strange things, Internet control, heavy enforcement of punishment for dissidents, rocketing house prices etc etc etc. But poverty is being reduced, more jobs available and more creativity is happening, the HIGH speed train , solar energy, medicines for example.
It is always easy to follow the sheep, not so easy to look at the whole picture!
Where did I say that Conrad? Or are you trying to put words in my mouth?
The facts.
1, The USA had a huge manufacturing base, and that created the world's worst pollution, the cost involved to reduce the pollution as decreed by the government in place, was such, that the final cost of the products would skyrocket. At the same time China was emerging as a place with cheap labour, and few restrictions, so the GREEDY US companies moved the manufacturing to China and other Asian countries, with no regard to the repercussions the less developed countries would incur.
2, Pollution dropped in the USA and rose in Asia, especially China, by the time China realised, the problem had grown far far worse than that previously in the USA, they tried to control it and failed. Now, the controls are a lot more ridge and enforced, and slowly, the pollution is being reduced.
To accuse a third world country, that was struggling with the largest population and a shortage of food, of being greedy, is just the bias put about by the media and those who really do not know the history of Asia.
3, Now that China is emerging as a powerful and determined country, those who have no understanding have become fearful, they start ridiculous rumours to try and move support from Asia back to the USA.
For years and years, the USA was a country that all others looked up to, want to emulate America and the American Dream, but now, there is another country, that has grown faster and more powerful than any in the history of the world. An alternative to the American Dream, and because other countries are now starting to build closer ties with China rather than the USA, it makes for an unsettles United States.
The USA is losing top position and they don't like it.
When I was in Philadelphia I suffered with a chronic chest infection due to the pollution but I didn’t jump to the conclusion all of America was like that! I was in Shanghai in late August, the air was not clean, but burning eyes? Gagging? Not even close.
I apologise, I completely misread and mixed up your post with another forum, I thought you were suggesting Soros had donated 18 billion to the NWO, I take back my comment and hang my head in shame.
My excuse is it is well after midnight here and I am obviously more tired than I realised. I must stop posting on different forums at the same time.
Really? 18 billion, from a man worth 20 billion? Do you think it is perhaps the right wing propaganda that needs checking rather than the fake NWO?
If Soros was financing everything that right wing fanatics say he is financing, he would need the wealth of Bill Gates and he is no where near that rich lol
I guess it is too late to suggest you actually check facts before posting such crazy misinformation Or did a fake professor tell you and you believed them because they would never lie?roll:
As for the reports about the dirt digging on Trump, check the real facts as to who started the article, then look at previous elections and take notice that this has been done time and time again, by a plethora of presidential candidates. Nothing new, but the media just love to make a mountain out of a molehill.
Instead of getting so uptight Lindsey, try to respect that some people have different opinions to your own!
I have been polite and written in simple English MY opinion, at no point have I made a single comment about you or any other poster in my post on this thread.
As for Trump being praised, maybe in some circles, but certainly not in Asia, especially China, who have said exactly the opposite, as has France, Germany and the UK.
The only people I have seen giving praise are the fanatical Trump supporters, who would still praise him if he sold the USA to China.
Again, we obviously see things from different points of view, but there is no need to get personal just because I disagree with your opinion.
He should have concentrated on stabilising the Republican party rather than having a pissing contest with NK. Of course, as a tv egoist, he doesn't understand politics or diplomacy, all that is happening to the GOP is as a direct result of his presidency.
The same in the UK, a crap leader causing the breakdown of the party in control. Sad that politics is so easily disrupted.
Saying that I guess the ultimate responsibility lies with the electorate, for putting the wrong people in power! USA, UK, France, Australia are all suffering from poor decisions made by the voters. NZ may well be next.
In the midst of the brawl, the two are forced to start deeply into each other's eyes, in an instant a flash of love and desire flows between the adversaries and they kiss, hug each other and live happily ever after. A win win situation!
Well if he does match make for you, you need to understand the cultural differences, and that Asian women are more trusting of western men, therefore, they get very easily hurt if mislead for the wrong reasons. Read all you can about Pinoy culture, and good luck.
There was a great UK show called Midsummer Murders, last year when on a visit to the UK I found there was a new series, hugely disappointed to find the lead actor had been replaced, completely ruined the series for me and haven't watched it since.
Sorry on rereading I didn't make it very clear, the actor is the same but the character has changed, in the beginning Dean was always level headed and thought things trough, and always believed the impossible was possible, but this series he suddenly changed, giving up easily and refusing to listen to his brother Sam's positive arguments. It maybe that he is possessed or similar, time will tell. But it is a fun series and now in its 13th season, so must be popular in the USA, the best season was when the brothers save God, who turns out to be a hippie, it really was so funny.
Mr Mercedes was definitely worth watching, looking forward to the next season. For a winning lottery ticket I won't reveal the ending.
I really enjoy the Australian TV series Doctor Blake Mysteries, relaxing with excellent acting, and for entertainment without any brain power, the USA series The Orville is hilarious, a great caricature of Startrek.
The latest series of Supernatural has started but so far I found disappointing, the character of Dean has been changed, and doesn't fit the original. I'll watch next weeks and if it doesn't improve then cross that one off the list.
Good machine, but ruined by using MS Windows, wiped and reloaded with Linux and now you have a decent piece of Kit, especially if you have some Unix knowledge.
I didn't say perfect relationship I absolutely agree that no one is perfect, but I think it is possible to have a very near as perfect friendship, a relationship has more expectations so perfection is never possible.
RE: Air Quality in China means 760k premature deaths there annually and 20% less solar power.
Apologies for the typos.China is far from being perfect, like all countries, they make mistakes.
