I think it's all about perception and social environment.
I made a traditional English rice pudding and invited some Chinese students to try it, all said "It looks nice but I don't like it" But when I pushed for an answer they all admitted they had never seen it before let alone eaten any , so after a while I managed to persuade them to try a little, more than half really liked it and between them they ate the whole dish, a dish that normally lasts me maybe 4 meals and I eat huge bowlfuls each time lol.
So I think we should try new food whenever the opportunity arises, you can be pleasantly surprised.
It working out just fine, thank you for asking. Working in Asia is an eye opener, I would recommend it to those who have open minds, those with a fixed mind may find it a shock as it does not match with their expectations lol
I've just gone through a number of Swedish newspapers, none seem to confirm your post content, the only similarity I can find is regarding the Swedish conscription system, which is being re-addressed due to a lack in trained soldiers. But not because they fear imminent invasion by Russia. Maybe USA media got it wrong?
I think for me it is to show respect and smile when first meeting someone.
I have found a smile breaks barriers internationally, while respect (some say should be earned, I disagree) is something I normally show until that respect is undeserving.
I called you out on your professing to be a Professor because a true Professor would never make continuous spelling and bad grammar mistakes. I called you out on Professing to have graduated from ST John's College, Cambridge University because anyone who graduated from such an esteemed college would never spell the name incorrectly. The facts are undeniable lol. So now you think you can do the same to me? Because I showed how false you are? Please try
Please just continue, I don't lie. Like your sycophant, you are digging a bigger and bigger hole lol.
Most on this site can tell the difference between our education and integrity.
It is a real shame that some here refuse to debate or acknowledge differences in opinions without name calling but I guess that is how they think they can win an argument.
I know you will report this post, but I feel it is the right thing to do, when you continuously call people with differing opinions to your own such names as morons, delusional, terrorist supports and liars on a public forum.
I checked many different sites before making that comment, and all came to the same conclusion, even with a 10% tolerance, far greater than the error margin re Clinton, it still shows a higher approval for Obama and a low one for Trump
So exactly the same as when Obama was elected, except that the Republicans had a far greater control of the Senate.
How about a true comparison for the first 100 days? The problem is that the truth is completely hidden, and because the state of the country was very different for each first 100 days, together with very different ideology on how to be a President, most comparisons are worthless.
This one, however, is very interesting.
Approval rating: Trump managed to achieve the lowest rating in Presidential history Obama achieved the highest rating.
Now we know the cost of the bribe Trump made to get her to travel with him and pretend she liked him
The snatched hand away from his was very very revealing, that, together with the fact that she made crazy excuses not to move to the Whitehouse, would suggest she is in for the money
Running a business is not the same as running the USA, and he was never a successful business man. Just ask the thousands who lost their jobs and livelihoods from his failed businesses or the student who he lied to and then tried to pay off. He always uses money to buy out of difficult situations, as President he can't do that.
Learning about a job is of course part and parcel of being withing that job, but you wouldn't be starting without some experience. Trump has no experience whatsoever, and worse, he is refusing to listen to advice from those with great experience. Which means he in no leader, his ego is too big. Richard Branson is either loved or hated by the British public, rather like Trump, yet the people who work for him show total loyalty and want to work for his companies, that is a true leader! No-one appears to have any loyalty to Trump other than his family.
I have a clue what he is like by the lack of results and the mess he is making. He sacked a man who was doing his job, a man who has always been regarded as totally fair and who had real integrity. Why would he do that unless he was scared that things would be uncovered that would reflect badly on him.
I also have a clue what he is like by the constant U-turns he makes, he says one thing that he knows will gain votes and support, and then does the total opposite when in power. For example, he voiced very loudly to Obama to keep out of Syria's problems and then within days of becoming President, he bombs Syria. The list is endless.
Historically the best world leaders have all come from business backgrounds, and then entered politics at ground level and worked up to the top position, conversely the worst leaders have been those who suddenly became the leader with no political experience.
Actually, they didn't the Electoral college elected him.
As for him learning on the job. He is not a bus driver, he is the leader of the world's most powerful country; That position needs experience and diplomacy, not someone who is a failed businessman or a man who uses other people's money to get out of awkward situations. He doesn't have a clue!
This is priceless, coming from someone who cannot even spell simple words like liberal.
Actually, if you had taken the time to read posts on this and most other forums, responding within a quoted text is very normal but if your reading is as bad as your writing I guess it is easy to make that mistake.
You conveniently forget that without stealing the technology of gunpowder from the Chinese, America would never have become the world's leader in Armament sales .
But never let history get in the way of a good story
Of course he missed out the really important parts, like when will Saudi take responsibility for the refugees, and when will Saudi stop murdering hundreds of thousands of innocent people
You know, your hatred of the British is a real puzzle, seeing as we as a country have done so much to help Greece in the past, supported your country against many enemies, and financially helped too. Your constant sticking the knife in does little to help improve the tourism that your country is so dependent on. But no worries, I guess you have your reasons. I still love Greece and will still continue to visit, just maybe not IOS anymore lol
That is up to the Cypriots, not Greece, most Cypriots, not the political ones, are happy enough with the British presence and the security that brings. If the UK upped and left tomorrow, by Wednesday the Island would be wholly Turkish, there is no way the Cypriot military could hold off the masses of Turkish soldiers that are based on the north side.
I cannot be held responsible for your inability to read and understand the English language, I have not attacked anyone, I voiced an opinion and never mentioned any specific member of CS.
I have never called a person deplorable, I have used the word correctly as an adjective to describe my opinion.
I did not single out any specific person, unlike those who constantly attack a NAMED poster rather than the actual post.
For example, directly replying to a poster and calling them "miserable". Instead of realising that poster has the right to support anyone he/she wishes, is a personal attack. Can you really not see the difference Madam Professor?
Yes, I noticed it too, really poor spelling and inability to make even simple sentences coherent. I always assumed it was because they were uneducated, hence their total belief in everything they hear.
Maybe not all republicans, but it certainly applies to many in this forum
What's even more deplorable is they cannot understand that an opinion is just that, an opinion, and not necessarily a definition of being miserable
The whole top level of both sides, Republic and democrats should be replaced and new blood brought in, with criteria that they put country before profit, no one with a bank balance above $500,000 should be allowed and that bank balance must not increase within a ten year period. That together with the complete banning of lobbying may give the USA a real chance to become Great again.
