I hope to some day visit Australia because of it's beauty. But main reason because I met my best friend right here on CS many years ago and he lives in Australia. He has been to the states to visit but I have yet to make the trip to Australia.
I have just recently tried skype. Started an account to chat with someone. Added him as he gave me his info. will not work. Have been very frustrated with it to be honest
Well here it is 5:15 AM and I have been awake for awhile. Guess it is coffee time for me Oh how I would have liked to stay in that bed for just another hour or so. But my body has become so used to this early thing it just kind of takes over
Now I also think if I was snuggled up to that special guy I would still be sleeping or something
I agree with that for sure. Was married to a true cowboy for 36 years. Road horses, doctored cattle, threw 50lb. bags of feed around like it was a feather, plus all the other things that go along with living on a ranch. Now I also am paying for it. But I try to make the best of each day that comes. Some are just a wee bit better than others.
I usually wake between 5 and 6 AM and believe it or not, almost always, wake in a fairly cheerful mood. I stretch a little, do my potty room ritual, wash up and head right for the kitchen to make coffee Oh of course when I wake, unlike the ladies in the movies, I do not have make-up on, earrings in my ears and every hair in place
I do happen to have my best friend who lives in Australia. Now I do plan on visiting him someday, but he is coming this way this spring. We actually met right here on CS some 7 years ago. Because my family adores him, yes he has been here before, I would possibly relocate for him
I agree with Scubadiva, So many aspects of relocating. If just a couple hundred miles, not so bad. But if to another country many things would have to be checked out. For me I would find it extremely difficult to move more than a few hundred miles away from my kids and grandkids. We are a very close family. Also seems most guys have no idea where Nebraska is
I was diagnosed 17 years ago with a rare form of endometrial cancer. First reaction of course was total shock, then a few tears. Had a radical hysterectomy, which means they had to take a little more than a normal hysterectomy. Also did a lumpectomy on right breast at the same time. Have now been cancer free for all these years and pray it continues that way.
RE: Where's a place you'd like to go but haven't yet?
