Not in our town. And half the bicyclists are ones that DID get their license taken away, we could always tell which ones they are. For one thing they do ride in the street and when I say "in the street" they ride right down the middle of the lane and most the time opposite traffic and then zip across traffic to get to the bars. Very sad. But this is the dumping grounds for the early release prisoners in California.
Where I live we have what is called "catch and release" of the drunks and drug users that drive cars all over the place: sidewalks, lawns, wrong way streets, you name it. Our streets are not safe for ANYONE to ride on.
I ride my bike early in the morning in my little neighborhood when it is deserted and the drunks are still sleeping it off. And yes I do ride on our sidewalks mainly because the road is uneven. I am the only one out. And it is quiet and Heavenly.
I think it will be the lawyer reading the will, telling the family that Grandma left all her money to her cats and it is ironclad. Hey they were the only ones there for her those last 10 years.
I didn't read all the comments, I have a horrid headache, but in case someone didn't tell you: get rid of the picture of the dude for Heaven's sake! Get some new pictures and let's have a party!! No use dwelling on what was and will never be again. You are here and starting over. Kind of like "Welcome back Carter" but instead it is Jackson. Out with the old and in with the new YOU!
Living in a VERY dry climate and drought year here in Northern California, we are threatened all the time by fire, it is normal here, which it shouldn't be.
Myself I have watched fires but have never had them threaten my home. When I was little we had a huge fire in front of our house, but our lovely firemen got it out, it did burn a few of our acres. But we never left the house.
Just 40 miles away they had evacuations in effect and 1200 acres so far have burned, 15% contained. We see these statistics every day. We resent electrical storms in the summer time, careless smokers, off road daredevils and plain idiots who decide they are going to mow their fields when there is a ban on it.
We are in the most severe drought since the 1970s it is scary right now.
I hope the majority of you never have to experience an evacuation or even a fire near you.
I too find more scammers and fake people on this site. And the bad thing about it is this site lets them stay here. That is very sad for unsuspecting people.
Not anymore sweetie. I looked it up because I drive barefoot all the time. Although I just Googled it again, it says yes you can drive barefoot in all 50 states but it is not recommended. What the heck? I think being barefoot is the best way to drive you have no restrictions. I used to drive in high heels when I worked and drive in flip flops now, but mostly like to drive (especially long distance) barefoot.
A weird law here in California is: it is against the law to wear a housecoat (bathrobe I am assuming?) while driving.
Here in our town Real Men wear pink at our rodeo for Breast Awareness, I think it is awesome and men look really good in a pale pink shirt, does not detract from them.
Real mean in my eyes don't give a rat's behind what other people think. They do the housework, they wear pink, they Don't wear dresses because they would look stupid in them, now the Scots do look handsome in their kilts, but that is because they are made for a man.
Don't go in shark infested oceans, you will be okay. But then again lakes, rivers and swimming pools may have alligators and crocodiles oh and don't forget rattlesnakes or other fun snakes, and there are the piranhas but it just depends on where you live. And last but not least the rabid ducks closest thing to a duck I could find on here....
Not one person in our house scrambles to answer the phone. My daughter has her cell phone and my son and I just let it go to voice mail. I HATE talking on the phone, makes my head buzz badly.
No you little 3'10" dipwad! When you bring in someone I cared about, Robin Williams and tried to put him up against dead children; you brought this on yourself you little . Oh and I am not the one with my hand out asking for money.
Again no explanation. Do you mean your relatives look at you like "What the heck?" Or scoot away from you on the couch when you sit down? Or do they lock the doors when they see you coming up the walkway and turn out all the lights and hide?
I have all three seasons, but have not watched the last DVD. I just can't.....very upsetting that it ended. It should be brought back it was a very good show. I feel like the storyline was probably close to how conditions were back then.
About to get in my car and head to Chico, California a 45 minute drive. It is suppose to be 111 degrees Fahrenheit(43.8 Celsius), but the computer says 109...still a tad hot.
I am doing good, just recovering from hand surgery, for awhile was hard to type. I still can't bend my wrist and being a writer I have so many stories to write it is driving me crazy. Oh I am already crazy.
Getting ready to go up to Oregon to see my son before he is deployed again. So that will be bittersweet. We will try to get to the Falls up there, Silver Falls in Oregon (google them to see how gorgeous they are), such wonderful falls! There are ten of them I've only seen six. No they are not the largest falls and there are more spectacular falls, but these I just love, you can walk behind a few of them. I can't wait! Next week!!
What have you been up to? Relaxing??
Okay girls I did not get to make the mac salad. I think I have adult on-set ADHD, I was starting one thing and getting distracted by shiny objects and the whole day got away from me. I am going to make it, I love the thought of adding avocados and bacon to it, just sounds yummy and fun.
RE: Why do women always have to have the last word?
Why do we have to have the last word?Because we do! End of discussion!! Not another word!!
