That is a dumbazz question! People don't have to put a picture up if they don't want to. Don't look at profiles without photos easy peasy. There are so many reasons why people don't put them up.

I am single, but not living alone, I have two children still at home, when they are here, my 16 year old daughter and my 23 year old son. But I am here a lot by myself, since retiring two years ago. And have finally decided to kick start writing by joining the Nanowrimo: National Novel Writing month. A project around the world, we are to write 50,000 words by the end of the month, so 1,666 a day for 30 days. I am writing at least 2,000 easy peasy a day! Having a great time doing it.

Another thing I have taken an active interest in is HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography and just learning how to do it with what I have: camera, tripod and software.



Bottom line, you need to find something that you are interested in and start doing it!! Don't sit and feel sorry for yourself. Start living!!

Yep they are good manuals, this is the easier of the two (Chilton being the other), you can figure out what things are and they give great troubleshooting advice!!

And you apparently don't have a repair book on your car? When I get a car I always order a Haynes Car Manual on Amazon for that particular car. A lot of people like Chilton, but I don't. Good luck!

Dang it! I just can't leave my warm California. Will you reconsider? It is beautiful here. 300 days of sunshine, snow in the mountains, beautiful lakes, ocean, dessert, redwoods, vineyards all within a few hours.

I don't like that they recruit at the high school, though I do have two in the Navy and have both been in since they were 18. I think kids should choose on their own once they are 18 years old and not under pressure. I have seen how military recruiters act, I don't like it. My opinion.

Oh whoa! I did not think food could ever be taxed unless it was cooked!

Oregon doesn't have a state tax and you are not allowed to pump your own gas, they get pretty upset when we try to do it ourselves when we forget.

See it depends on the state and city. Gas is cheaper in Ohio than it is in California.

Ours would go from state to state and even then inside a state it would vary, in a small town in the mountains I was visiting, I was shocked at how high the prices of everything was. And the reason is? Because they can. They don't have the big stores to compete with.

In my town:

We measure in gallons for gas and milk (you didn't ask about milk, a necessity here milk under $3 a gallon)

1 Fuel per liter

gas for a gallon is: $3.71

(a gallon of gas is 3.78 liters )

2.land gas per cubic metre

Natural gas is $0.95704 per Therm (you convert it to cubic metre I hate math)

3.electricity - per kilowatts


$0.13230 kWh

4.Bread per kg

We buy by the loaf (whole bread sliced) so around $2.50 a loaf

5.beef meat boneless per kg

$4.50 per pound

We use pounds for weight measures

(one pound is 0.453592 kg)

6.rice per kg

$2.50 for a five pound bag.

Okay someone else convert all this!! I am off to take an aspirin.
