Oh I see you do still have a phone there Rohaan...I was concerned because I have not heard from you lately!! I miss you!!


Regarding cell phones. Ugh hate them. But I do have one for my children to call when I turn my house phone off during a bad migraine. The kids need to check in. But I forget I have it and the battery dies all the time, I do keep a charger in my car - just in case.

Cell phones are good for emergencies, but that is all I use mine for.

Number one: it is none of your business why I home school my daughter.

Number two: I wish she would be home schooled next year because she is not safe at school, but she wants to go back. So if you want you can write a letter to the family of the 14 year old girl at my daughter's school and explain why their daughter was murdered in February...she was taken from the school and murdered in a field right next to it DURING SCHOOL HOURS with an appointed police officer paroling the school. And while you are at this writing, how about explaining why when my daughter was in grammar school a very young girl was taken right at lunch time at that school and duct taped up and left behind a church for three hours while all of our little town hunted for this child. Then go on over to the east coast of America and explain to those parents and families why that person was able to get into a Locked down school and murder 26 innocent children and adults. And there is plenty other reasons we home school. But like I said it's none of your business.

So my child, my choice to keep her safe.

I just answered this on Facebook as in our area we are having what is called "Kool April Nights" and consists of many, many vintage cars! They are so awesome and people have put a lot of love and money into their cars!! Going tomorrow to take pictures of these beauties!!

My favorite car is a Jaguar, I want one in Forest green, haven't figured out the year yet though. My previous love was a Lincoln Towncar which I owned two both the same year 1986, but they were as different as day and night. I really loved them! I am a car lover. My car right now and loving it is a 1998 Chrysler Sebring convertible! I love it!! But it has been acting up...wonder if it knows I am coveting a Jaguar?

That was my argument when they told me I would have to pay, I can't remember what it cost either $295 or $395 or some ridiculous amount at the courts! And to top it off I worked for the courthouse (not in that department)! I said it was MY NAME, I was born with it. Their argument was they needed the money. I wonder if they were being sarcastic.

When I was little my mother remarried, then divorced and kept her ex's name, I didn't like her having a different last name as all of us children.

My youngest daughter didn't like haven't a different last name than I, so she asked me to change my name back to my maiden name which is the last name I gave her, I told her when the last of the others move out I will. Welllllllllllllllllllllll it seems I might have had to wait forever, seems one doesn't want to leave, at 22 he is still home, so I changed it back to my maiden name. After that I find out my son (the 22 year old) wants to actually have my maiden name, he has no ties to his father and likes my last name so why the heck not? It is a cool name!

I did for my children, though I hated the name (very, very common name). Kept it 20 years after the divorce, finally changed it back to my maiden name, which took submitting court documents to do. It's been two years and still have so many things in the old name, now it's an irritant when I see it But still it is our right to do what we want with the name. We were given it when we married, we can give it back when we want.
