Everyone says that, too. Still, I love America, and (knock wood...) so far I've stayed away from too much trouble. Too many people I love haven't been able to --but many of us love and defend The United States wholeheartedly, just the same. Life isn't ever going to be perfect. Pray for our country. There really are many, many kind and genuine citizens here.
I have many faves, but I remember having Brie and fresh roasted peaches in Brioche, topped with real whipped cream and raspberry sauce. It was passable......
There often seems to be way more hard times than good/fun times, but we remember the good times and relish them....no one gets tea and crumpets all the time.....
Relax. I always feel the meanies are just doing my work for me--as soon as it's obvious they're a turd, then, well, how does that song go--"One less bell to answer, one less egg to fry"-- There are still some very beautiful, non-judgmental people in the world--yes you CAN win!! Happy Holidays, lovie
Here, too. The southern Oregon coast is mild to very nice almost all year. But Old Man Winter is a bit early--we have cool sunny mornings, and then does it get frosty by about 4 PM! It's still the best place I've ever lived--the beaches are so beautiful they make up for any short inconvenience--oh, how are you?
Howdy--for a long time I have had an issue with a part of "law" dealing with what is commonly known as "attractive nuisance". For instance, if a smart aleck is mesmerized by a huge beautiful Harley motorcycle, and sits on it and it falls and injures him in the process, he can sue the owner, and usually the owner will lose because of this law. Same thing owning a swimming pool--some twenty-somethings jump your fence and get hurt (or worse) it can be the homeowners "fault"--(in California and Oregon, it almost always is, and furthermore, you MUST carry heavy insurance in order to have an in-ground swimming pool. I just think these laws are way unfair. Your thoughts?
Actually she is absolutely 100% correct. You don't know what you're getting--lots of wacked people--urinating, defecating, blowing noses in, yes, your FOOD. Better to cowboy up and get the things yourself, make your own meals--it's GOOD for you to do that anyway. You are playing food roulette by letting someone deliver your meals. Not a very sage choice. Take my work---
Thanx. This particular computer (library) is acting up (!!) so I'm quitting for today--thanks for your response. Have a great weekend and rest of your week. Keep on the sunny side..
A rose is a rose is a rose. (Seventh-Day Adventists dislike the term "karma" because they say it isn't in the Bible. But the Bible is ALL ABOUT Karma! )
So, I'm not quite sure just where your forum is going--censorship is generally regarded (in The United States) as a negative; we have freedom of speech, freedom to move about, etc... However, there are also mandates similar and including not shouting "Fire!" when there is none, nor making threatening statements, etc...so, a form or forms of censorship exist and have existed.
The Trinity needs no defense, though it is wise to stand up for it. Faith means believing anyway. The Mother Superior (from The Sound of Music) says it well--"I always try to have faith in my doubts".....
We have a physician and nursing shortage here....and, get this: for some reason, many doctors/FNP are reluctant to prescribe---you know, they MAKE PAINKILLERS FOR A REASON!! Gets me riled up....and, I believe it is a form of abuse to deny pain management, especially when the patient MUST rely on the MD's and practitioners.
