Going good for me. I found out I have a cousin named Nyky. My grandmother had seven children and one of them actually stayed married to the same person the entire time. The other had three and four marriages. It is so cool when I find out about a new cousin that I didn't know I had.
Good luck with it and may it bring not only bring better pay and benifits but that you like working there, too. There is nothing wrong with enjoying your job and not having to dread going there.
My prayers are with you, Susie. The forums helped me greatly with grieving. Alex is right. If I can help let me know. I have used the hell out of people on the forums during the deep grieving process.
I think with a time machine it could be possible to make a marriage last 50 years. And I now pronounce you man and wife. Then you get into the time machine then come back to enjoy the 50 year anniversary.
I don't have any peepers, yet but I got some crowers and some squawkers. I am greatful for the nice weather we had today. I am so greatful that I was able to take the test today without following asleep. It was nice to resolve a conflict I had. I couldn't take this lady to the test because of a mix up but was able to take her home. I know her husband who had to watch the kids and they didn't have their car out of the shop, yet must have been glad that she could get a way home. I sure the kids was glad momma was able to make it home so that their family was all together.
Last week I met a hitch hiker with his duffle bag sticking his thumb out. I thought of how many times I had done the same thing and people took compassion on me when they didn't have to and showed love to me as stranger. It has happened to me so many times I can't even remember a lot of it. I went in to the restaurant in my town and watched him as the cars passed thinking to myself that if he was still there when I got done eating that I would give him a ride. He was greatful like I was so many times before just to get a ride. We got to talking and he was following the circuit or what hitch hikers call a person that makes the same trip in a pattern. I was just thankful that I was able to get off that path and eventually settle down. I took him farther than what I had to make sure he was in a well populated and easy access to the road. To me I like the thought of "Sometimes we entertain angels unaware."
Can she cook? Can she clean house? Does she like to camp out? Can she drive so I don't have too all the time? Does she like dogs? Does she like chickens? (Sorry, just happy with my new little animal family, lol.) Is she short enough to get into the chicken house so I don't have to make it taller, lol?
Hey way to go for you two. It is encouraging to know the place worked for you. Let us know if you would like to keep him or take what is behind door number three.
I found out what my Nigerian cousin's name is a few days ago. My aunt called me on the phone. His name is Jerry. I will be inquiring further to add to my geneaology page. I have had break throughs in geneaology from Black researchers in my study of the Spottsylvania, Virginia area concerning my ancestor in the 1720's. I was concerned about the 14 people from the Savage Islands that came aboard my ancestor's boat in 1620.

What made me think of this was my sponsor who I did my fifth step with when I was in treatment. He was a big guy and had a lot of sobriety time. I remember going to him when I was having trouble with a relationship. He really helped me by just being there and listening. He really never said much. Next week I was shocked because he had the same problem as I did, lol. He was having trouble with a relationship. I thought he was godlike and beyond all that, lol. It was then that I started to understand sponsorship a little better. It is like a two way street.
I think some of the funniest stuff I have ever read was about some of the false gods in history. There is always one god trying to outdo another god, lol. Back in the old testament there is this story where one guy makes this remark about this other guy's god must be sleeping, lol. In the new testament one of the disciples said we worship the unknown god. The Romans let it slide because they didn't want to piss off any of the gods especially one that was unknown, lol.
I tried three times. First time we were both too young but she was the only friend I had. Second time her father was more bigotted than mine. I was surprised, lol. Third time she was a lesbian and Delbert my black friend didn't score either, lol. We all three had a lot of laughs together, though. She was fun to be with. She sure embarrased me though when she whistled at the girls on the sidewalk.
