Ok, what is the best way to grow a garden amonst all these rocks? Any suggestions for what grows good in Arkansas? I am fixing to plant tomatoes. I tried to plant carrots but they turned out like corkscrews in the rocks.
If we get some extra I will see about sending some your way. I am full of hot air so it shouldn't be much of a problem to blow some your way. Good to see ya back up and running again. If ya need any rocks I got plenty of them I can throw at ya.
Oh, my that sounds nice. We just had our annual turkey trot here. They drop the turkeys from airplanes with parachutes and if you catch one you can keep it.
Yeah, tell me about it. My support groups help me. After a while like they say you might find somebody you may hit it off with. We have had some success stories in here. I try to socialize as much as possible in here and in my physical domain. I check out the insects when my chin hits the ground. I think they are interesting to watch.
Last night I finally figured out why Leola calls her right hand soccer. She is the one with Lupus and Multiple Distrophy and three other things that have her body all deformed along with the stroke she had. I have to go into her room when she gets on the call light. The other night her call light was on the side of her cheek. She can only move the muscles above her neck. Usually she is on the call light to have one of to check her foley bag; pull soccer down; she is thirsty; wants her glasses on; wants her teeth put in or empty her foley bag. Soccer keeps creeping up and pushes the call light on her cheek. She calls it soccer because it socks her. I am still working on why she calls her right leg George. She has me to straighten out George once in a while. She will say check on George and see that he is behaving. She has been flat of her back for 28 years where I work now and was at the other nursing home I was at back before I started at it as an orderly in 1981. She got at that place in 1983. She has a brilliant mind and is fun to argue with sometimes.
I liked Soap. I haven't seen that show in some time but thought it was pretty good. Especially thought Benson was funny and the boy who talked to his hand puppet.
Another thing that was funny about the argument is when she said don't give me any guff or I will stop bringing in the free food. I told her there wasn't any reason to get cruel about it. I am sure we can get through this thing.
Came across something last night that I haven't dealt with since I was married to my ex over seven years ago. It brought back how voicing your side of the story and honest feedback is important in communciation. I usually avoid direct confrontation when I can. I was working with Elizabeth and she noticed I hadn't signed out for washing wheelchairs and shower chairs. She confronted me with it and naturally I got defensive. I said I have always tried to do my job and took it as a put down. She said I know you do your job but you didn't sign out for them last week. I said I have never signed out for them. Well, she said you are supposed to. It was funny to me later because I was getting worked up over nothing. Have you ever had an argument only to find out that you are not even on the same page as the person you are arguing with?
Sometimes when I am at work I don't think about you. I get so busy just doing my job with no time to spare. With all the new friends I am making I don't get blue. But once in while I remember you are not here but there. Then all those happy memories we made come back. Jump in the car for a drive down by the old high school. Or try listening to the radio to get my mind back on track. It even works sometimes and I think this is so cool. It is hard to think of things we didn't do together. I try to think of something else; Maybe something new. Its getting cloudy here; Blame it on the weather. I have days nothing works; Sometimes I miss you.
