Woolworth in Lakes cooks and sells takeaway chicken and other alongside its delicatessen section, i think it also has an onsite bakery

RE: I'm Thinking #2

there is no Big W near here
Both Kmart and Target in Bairnsdale closed last year. Apparently Woolworths has taken over the building, which is located next door to Aldi.
Also in Bairnsdale there is store called Dahlsens' hardware it has a garden center with nursery s well as a lunch Cafe.

Myself I prefer to shop in Lakes Entrance it also has Woolworths and Aldi other department stores include Kmart, BIG W, and Target I think, not sure the latter offer sit down tucker sorry dunno

RE: Does anyone knows?

If you have movies or TV content purchased through the Play Store, here’s how you’ll be able to access them after July 15th:

On Android phones/tablets: using the Google TV app or the YouTube app
On iPhones/iPads: using the Google Play Movies and TV app, or the YouTube App
On Roku devices: using the YouTube app
On Samsung, LG, Vizio, and Roku smart TVs: using the YouTube app
On Chromecast: using the Google TV app
On the web: using the Google Play Movies and TV website or YouTube website
On Android TV: using the Google Play Movies and TV app (according to Google’s documentation)

To view your content on YouTube, log in, go to Library, then tap “Your movies and shows.” There, you’ll see your Google Play Store movie and TV purchases, your Movies Anywhere content, and any content purchased from within the YouTube app itself (with the family sharing caveat noted above).

Transitioning from one app to another can be tough, but Google is hoping to take some of the sting away for users by offering them a gift code that can be applied to their next movie or TV purchase — though you’ll have to redeem it on YouTube.

RE: Does anyone knows?

Share All sharing options for: Google is removing its Play Movies and TV app from every Roku and most smart TVs. The Google Play Movies and TV app will no longer be available on any Roku set-top box or any Samsung, LG, Vizio or Roku smart TV starting July 15th, Google has announced (via 9to5Google)

RE: Ubuntu

As previously mentioned i set up a computer with Ubuntu operating system, it worked fine until some clown expert fiddled with its setup...

With Win 7 you can buy disk (eBay) that installs Windows 7 (a disk for 32bit and or other for 64bit) that allows you to register the correct operating system code that is found on the label stuck on the back of (say) Toshiba laptop, the disk allows you to registers on install same as is (hidden) written into the laptop registry when it was new. And the disk will install Sp1 update.
You need to install correct registry code or Microsoft will when you online detect it and screw the computer.

Even so you then need to shutdown Windows update, insure that Google Chrome is not installed and Windows Internet Explorer is disabled in Turn on Turn of Windows features (program Start .
You should install good antivirus like Malwarebytes Premium...

RE: "The Greatest Depression"

American internal debt is currently $29 Trillion, of course that isn't counting outstanding so called forgiven derivative financial contractual obligations floating about cyberspace (least we forget) then there is a total of 7.07 trillion held by foreign countries, Japan and Mainland China held the greatest portions. China held 1.07 trillion U.S. dollars in U.S. securities. Japan held 1.25 trillion U.S. dollars worth.24 Feb 2021 (least you forget)

on the other side of the ledger :
Top 10 Countries with Largest Gold Reserves

United States. Tonnes: 8,133.5. Percent of foreign reserves: 79.0 percent.
Germany. Tonnes: 3,363.6. Percent of foreign reserves: 75.6 percent. ...
Italy. Tonnes: 2,451.8. Percent of foreign reserves: 71.3 percent. ...
France. Tonnes: 2,436.0. ...
Russia. Tonnes: 2,299.9. ...
China. Tonnes: 1,948.3. ...
Switzerland. Tonnes: 1,040.0. ...
Japan. Tonnes: 765.2. ...

But that doesn't count your internal US$29 Trillion, that's of course not government debt.

The main buyers of Canada's gold sell off has been Russia and China, which seems consistent with the One Belt Initiative program of settling monitory settlements in other than US$$$.

The current state of Canada's gold holding may relate to Canada's willingness to participate in an attack on China.
That would be a very serious error of judgment i think..

RE: Adobe flash player is not working

you need to update your browser Flash Play is no longer in use

So there are no changes to Microsoft's general policy for Windows consumers regarding Flash Player, which has largely been replaced by open web standards like HTML5, WebGL and WebAssembly. Adobe also will not issue security updates after December 2020.

An open-source project called Ruffle is also in development that allows users to experience Flash content in a web browser, without installing a plug-in. It comes as a Flash Player emulator that natively runs animated content.

means that versions of Flash bundled with browsers like Google Chrome will be retired.1 Jan 2021

Update your browser go to options / about / update now might apply depending what browser your using

RE: Your Opinion About Mr. Narendra Modi , the present Indian PM , as a politician

He is probably asleep because Modi would have said something about the current Chinese plan one a (1a) e.g.

China is planning a mega dam in Tibet able to produce triple the electricity generated by the Three Gorges — the world’s largest power station — stoking fears among environmentalists and in neighboring India.
The structure will span the Brahmaputra River before the waterway leaves the Himalayas and flows into India, straddling the world’s longest and deepest canyon at an altitude of more than 1,500 meters (4,900 feet).

RE: 48 years ago this day the remaining U.S. combat troops finally left Vietnam.

The Americans armed the French in 1952 using a mandate after WW2 that the UK handed over to America.

There were some significant regional developments around that time including America and Australia, New Zealand became signatories to the ANZUS Treaty in 1951,
Then America and Australia put together the South East Asian Treaty Organization in 1954 (S.E.A.T.O), which was an umbrella organization of nations that continued a war (our war) after French were eventually defeated in the battle at Dien Bien Phu, 13 March / 7 May 1954 the French army left Vietnam but French companies stayed on the French received compensation for every rubber tree lost, the French I think still owned the power supply. America shifted Christians from North Vietnam then declared the DMZ, and prompted a corrupt Christian government who divested Buddhist people in the South of there land, they gave there land to Christians from North Vietnam.

The first GI was killed in Bien Hoa in 1959.

Down under New Zealand sent civilian medical teams to South Vietnam, and also deployed troops to protect the civilian medical team.
In 1962 Australia sent its first military advisers to South Vietnam to assist in the training of government troops.
On 10 November 1964 Menzies announced the introduction of a new scheme for peacetime conscription by which 20-year-old males were chosen by a ballot of birth dates to serve for two years in the Australian Army. This included overseas service, and at the time seemed to herald a substantial commitment of troops to assist the United States in Vietnam.

RE: Ubuntu

I put Clam on the Ubuntu but I don;t think was much good.
I'm running Win 7 Pro 64 bit and use Malwarebytes Premium (paid) it is comprehensive antivirus program. Also run free version Panda Dome, its a good program.

I just looked up Malwarebytes for Ubuntu and found the following information:

Ubuntu computers are known for their security, but this does not rule out the possibility of viruses. If you want to use a Windows virus program, such as the Malwarebytes free antivirus tool, you must first install the Windows environment application Wine, then install Malwarebytes through that.

RE: Ubuntu

I put on a windows hard drive for a friend who had a habit of stuffing windows operating system, took her five to stuff Ubuntu, was good computer and worked well. AND Freee wave

RE: Ubuntu

Ubuntu is also an open-source operating system, while Windows is a paid and licensed operating system.

Ubuntu has always been free to download, use and share. The developers believe in the power of open source software; Ubuntu could not exist without its worldwide community of voluntary developers.

Does Ubuntu need antivirus?
The short answer is no, there is no significant threat to an Ubuntu system from a virus.
