RE: Wildlife

Ali this dog I named Clown because some times he really funny. He is wild in so far as he is not domesticated, from six weeks old on he was bonded to lambs in the wool-shed and 24/7 along with the other Maremma dogs on this farm, Clown guards the sheep, he protects sheep from wild dog attacks. The Maremma dog breed comes from Italy's high, mountains there they are used to protect livestock from Wolves that attach even very big animals.
One day I pulled a prickle out of Clowns foot and he has since that time more or less trusted me (and you should to Ali). Long time ago Clown came and got me, insisted i follow him down the farm track where i found a sick sheep he had sat beside. On another occasion I found Clown laying beside a sick sheep, where he had remained until help arrived. See the attached photos.
The reason I called him Clown came about because thunder and lightening scare the hell out of him. He hears thunders hours before we do, often runs and hides under Johns Ute Tray or on the veranda on the cottage i camp in. He trembles and dribbles saliva all over the place, thunder and lightening totally freaks Clown out.

RE: Wildlife

they have mind and fear death, and if you have assisted an animal to give birth you would never ask the question. Surely you can't be serious Ali?

RE: Religions/Beliefs/Perceptions

yes but we usually ask carpenters about building projects, some of us prefer our source of considered information from skilled, qualified people, certainly not carpenters

RE: Creator

Maybe people generally do but its rather a philosophy, not blind dogma as the teachings are based on debate using logic in reason rather blind faith.
Religion has good qualities, it is often beneficial, wide spread many people gain peace across the world. However i was alluding to people murdering others, like the people hung on the end of construction crane's rope like occurs in Iran, others berried up to there necks in Afghanistan then trampled by horses or having their heads cut of by Taliban lunatics from Pakistan. Taliban lunatic who were observed physically running from Pakistan into Afghanistan after the Russians stopped bombing their. The bombs Bush and Bush and others dropped on innocence people in, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Yemen etc, so called religious people who harshly judge the karma others and having them shot, injected lethal injection, electrical-execution, poison, torture, the bombing of millions, lying, stealing on a grande scale in countries that they propose are religious frustrated

So yes people may well label Buddhism a religion, in first instance mere label and its more so a philosophy...

RE: Creator

not the slightest chance Ali religion in all forms is evil

RE: Creator

not even slightest chance of a one god one creator, its pure fantasy Aliwave

Spare a thought for the good folks in New Caledonia, Tropical Cyclone Niran

Yes I hitched round the main island in early 70's, at the time the French had Foreign Legion Troops deployed there, Forts with machine guns etc etc, the local people had to get permission to go from one village to another.
French Government backed Societé Le Nickel is made up of four mining sites across the country - Thio, Kouaoua, Népoui-Kopéto and Tiébaghi- and one production facility, Doniambo, in the heart of Noumea.
Bloody mess they have open cast mined almost the whole length of the main island.

2 Feb 2021 — New Caledonia's coalition government has collapsed after its pro-independence politicians resigned. (A coalition government in New Caledonia, a French territory in the Pacific, collapsed on Tuesday after pro-independence politicians resigned, citing persistent economic issues and unrest over the sale of nickel assets.)
The South Pacific archipelago 750 miles east of Australia, has been gripped by riots over the sale process of Vale’s local nickel business.
New Caledonia is the world’s fourth-largest nickel producer, behind Indonesia, the Philippines and Russia. Demand for nickel, mainly used in making stainless steel, is expected to grow rapidly as a raw material in electric vehicle batteries.

The locals are very nice people, even though the stupid Foreign Legion were doing what the French do everywhere they go (try Vietnam, Algeria, Lebanon) every night a local islander invited me to put my tent up on there front lawns. An incredible experience mate.

Yeah the satellite image of its center is incredible, very destructive storm you guys call hurricanes
Sounds like one child was injured and (copy and paste)
About 20,000 people are without power and roofs have also been ripped off buildings in the town of Dumbéa, on the outskirts of Noumea.

Several ships have also been forced aground on the coast in Noumea although according to a provisional report, no major damage was recorded following this cyclone, the intensity of which was a little lower than expected.

Meteo France NC said there was not a lot of rain during the storm but violent winds ranging from 130 to nearly 220km/h caused problems.

It's been reported 50mm of rain fell over the course of six hours.

"Niran caused extensive damage to the power grid and to vegetation," a civil security spokesperson told the AFP.

Meanwhile there are 400 people still sheltering in evacuation centres in the capital of Noumea.

The cyclone is weakening as it moves to the southeast of the New Caledonian mainland.

Spare a thought for the good folks in New Caledonia, Tropical Cyclone Niran

A rapidly developing Tropical Cyclone Niran has strengthened to a Category 5 system this Friday and became one of the strongest storms ever recorded over the Southwest Pacific. The last tropical cyclone that got even close to New Caledonia was a Category 4 Cyclone Erica back in 2003.

According to the latest JTWC analysis, the tropical cyclone Niran was located approximately 300 miles west-northwest of Noumea, New Caledonia. It has tracked east-southeastward at a forward speed of around 24 knots over the past six hours.

Niran is now moving towards its potentially destructive landfall in New Caledonia later today. Another monster storm is grazing the Indian Sea, with a *very* impressive structure of a violent tropical system. It has a designated name Habana.

High wind shear is expected to gradually weaken Niran, but the cyclone is expected to be at category 4 strength as it moves along the south shore of New Caledonia’s largest island, Grande Terre, between 0 UTC and 12 UTC Saturday. Heavy damage is likely on the island, and Niran’s eyewall will pass perilously close to the capital city of Noumea (population 95,000).

Thank you all for your kind thoughts.
I think the exiled Tibetans have turned there backs!

The Chinese have flooded the web with their views/miss information...still after many pages Dr Google still produced some information:

The Tibetan Calendar, Wood Iron Ox year

There are a number of special days marked in the Monastery calendar. These days are taken from the Tibetan calendar which is based on a lunar system with 360 days and 12 months, with an additional month added every 30 months to keep the calendar aligned with the seasons. The rules for calculating the details of the Tibetan calendar are very complicated, and are handed down from master to student in the Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute which prepares a detailed astrological chart for each year.
>>>>>
There are twelve animals and five elements assigned to each year in a 60 year cycle called a Rab-byung. These are the Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Bird, Dog, Pig, Mouse, Ox and Tiger, and the elements are Fire, Earth, Iron, Water and Wood. In 2020 we are in the 34th year of the 17th Rab-byung, the year of the Iron Mouse. The next 60-year Rab-byung cycle begins in 2047 (western calendar) with the Fire Rabbit year. Months are numbered rather than named, but each are again ruled by animal signs, the first being the Dragon.

RE: Can anyone recommend

You might consider looking at HandBrake program, i've used it a lot in the past just looked and HandBrake is an open-source video transcoder available for Linux, Mac, and Windows. Everyone can use HandBrake to make videos for free.
its a good program I'm happy to recommend, its free, however whether it does what your wanting to do I dunno.

HandBrake About page link:

What HandBrake does not do

HandBrake does not:

Combine multiple video clips into one
Pass-through video without conversion (video is always converted)
Create Blu-ray, AVCHD, or DVD discs
Make cocktails (yet)

Jul 2, 2020 — HandBrake for Mac is a program that lets you convert multiple types of video files into MP4 or MKV format, while specifying other output

HandBrake is a free and open-source transcoder for digital video files, originally developed in 2003 by Eric Petit to make ripping a film from a DVD to a data storage device easier.
