President Donald Trump is rushing to ‘Make Israel Great Again’ in his last days in office, dangling as much as $2 billion in aid in front of Indonesia if the majority-Muslim nation just recognizes the country.

The US International Development Finance Corporation has revealed it is willing to throw an extra $1 or $2 billion in aid at Indonesia if the world’s largest Muslim country follows in the footsteps of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates and recognizes Israel diplomatically.

RE: If death is negative, is immortality positive?

non of them do everything

I suggested to a friend he should check out the Olympus 40-150mm lens, its been round a long time, i have one with me all the time because it better in low light than the 300mm lens.
One camera I chucked away was caused because i was using Olympus Zuiko 75-300mm, that was sold as suitable for wildlife but the forgot to mention it wasn't weather, cold, dust resist, AU$1900.00 camera bit the dust...
The 40-150mm is weather, cold, dust resist, has its own focusing engine built in and not to expensive (say $1300.00)
Worth a look mate

RE: If death is negative, is immortality positive?

Olympus has some of the best image stabilization technology in the photo business. Their flagship Olympus OM-D E-M1X mirrorless camera, in particular, debuted a seriously impressive 7.0 stops of in-body stabilization. (And a combined 7.5 stops if paired with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-100mm F4.0 IS PRO lens.) That same technology is now available in their E-M1 Mark III, bringing amazing IS performance within reach of advanced amateurs, and in a more compact body to boot.

My OM-D E-M1 Mark 11 cameras have 5 way stabilization built into them. One camera I have a Zuiko 300mm 1:4 Pro Lens that has 2 way stabilization built into the lens that works in conjunction with the cameras stabilization.
I've x2 Teleconverters fitted to both cameras. The other camera is fitted with 40-150mm lens that has its own focusing engine built into the lens, it to is fitted with x2 Teleconverter.

RE: If death is negative, is immortality positive?

It is bit unknown what it will actually mean I think the new crowd will keep selling the brand.

The new company name, OM Digital Solutions Corporation, will honor the inspiring legacy of Yoshihisa Maitani and Olympus Maitani cameras. The New Imaging Company will continue with our existing brands, such as OM-D, PEN and ZUIKO, and will utilize the Olympus brand for a certain period," the statement says.

The acquisition includes all of Olympus’ global Imaging business, including all research and development, as well as manufacturing facilities. Sales, marketing and R&D operations will be relocated to a new headquarters located in Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan, while production will continue at Olympus’ Vietnamese factories in the Dong Nai province.

Olympus says the ‘New Imaging Company will continue to provide high-quality, highly reliable products’ and notes the ‘Zuiko and OM brands, which are grounded in optics and digital imaging technologies cultivated by Olympus over many years will be appropriately positioned to further pursue new developments.’

There has been massive improvements in my 2 Mark 11 camera's firmware since late last year.

I've never been comfortable with Olympus support services. Have tossed away more than a couple of cameras. Stayed with Olympus mainly because have so much invested in the camera and particularly lens ('s).
In my opinion Olympus and Zuiko Lens are among top 4/3rds camera products, are second to none really, but a very fluid constantly changing technology has gone forward in leaps and bounds throughout 2020

RE: The USA is considering a second and 2 Trillion Plus USD stimulus bill because of Covid-19

This country's worst move was to go along with idiot Ronald Regans New World Order stunt 1984, which was embraced by PM Paul Keating. Keating set in motion the biggest rip off the Australian people ever got lumbered with, as it lead to PM John Howard's government selling of almost all the peoples assets to their rich mates.

However Australia was the only major economy to avoid a recession during the 2008 global financial crisis - mainly due to demand from China for its natural resources. ... Australia has had a steady economy growth for decades with strong coal, iron ore and natural gas exports to a surging China.
Enter PM Kevin Rudd's stimulus packages...
In response to the Global Financial Crisis of the late 2000s, the Rudd government announced in October 2008 that it would guarantee all bank deposits. The government initially ignored Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) advice to cap the guarantee.

With the economy experiencing its biggest slowdown since the early 1990s and facing a recession, the government announced an economic stimulus package worth $10.4 billion
(2007%E2%80%932010)

This year

Its true that a burden of debit gets imposed upon the people.
However in past it proved to have been a good course as a vibrant economy was ale to claw back the debit, almost back into a surplus, however we have again gone back into debit.

The current trade war (the flu) has had a devastating effect on world economies. It has shut down many economies, however that's probably better than dropping bombs, but sort your country out I think nations of the world will sort the gross dishonest you as a people continue to display. You might believe god will save you but in expressing that view galrads by default you are equally blaming your perception of a one god for the millions of peopled killed by American inspired wars including WW2 because your god must have been in charge of that.
Berry your heads in the sand for as long as you like. America in continuing to create global destabilization hoping to create another major world wide conflict, as America did during the 1930's by imposing rules imposed by the united states upon the rest of the world is simply not going to be tolerated.

America continues to refuse to listen that of course is initially up to America stimulus or not the out come will still be the same the US Peso.

RE: Tree

probably the most valuable timber in Australia would be Red Cedar

Once classified as a distinct species, Toona australis, our Australian red cedar is now recognised as a local variant of the Asian red cedar (Toona ciliata). In its natural habit, large red cedar trees are usually only found in the coastal areas of New South Wales and Queensland, but the species may be much more tolerant than its rainforest habit implies.

Plant the Seed

Plant mountain ash seeds in freshly turned soil blended with acid peat in a partially shaded area in the late summer. Locations with cold winters and altitudes higher than 3,000 feet are preferable, but temperate zones with annual rainfall amounts of 40 inches or more are also suitable.

Italy was one of the European countries with colonies in Africa during the modern period. Lasting from 1890 to 1941, Italian colonialism in Africa included the present day countries of Libya, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Somalia.

Italian colonization can be divided into two periods. The first begins in 1890, with the Italian colonization of Eritrea, and continues with the acquisition of Libya and Somalia, and the invasion and occupation of Ethiopia. The second period begins around 1937, when the occupation of Ethiopia was complete and when Fascist racial policy became more explicit and extreme.

(1) Spiritual — connect with someone’s values on a very deep level

Desire is the root cause of our sufferings

Without a qualified guide it is said we cannot follow Buddha's path.
Also of course as I'm a slow learner I've foolishly kept trying to find happiness outside of self for most of this life.

Soon i will die, pass into the Bardo (in between state) little doubt enjoy yet another suffering rebirth likely driven by past causes, the fly's swatted, fish caught, evilness etc etc, gravy train of non virtuous activities...doh

Many years of listening to Dharma teachings explained by qualified teachers in the Mahayana path leaves no regret some how I connected with His Holiness teachings in past travels and I reckon the "very deep level" covers what I've been most attracted to, so i ticked it.
I'm quite convinced our true nature is moving energy, therefore it follows really worthwhile sown lots of connection teachers in future time.

RE: What’s the best thing about living in Switzerland ?

yes and no
American breeders spent a lot of time line breeding (line breeding is the mating of animals that are closely related to each other) including Brown Swiss mainly to increase milk production.
Probably the proper name for the breed in Switzerland would be Braunvieh.
However Brown Swiss cattle DNA shows the breed originated in Afghanistan region.
Hundreds of years ago the breed was farmed in Austria, Germany and Switzerland other countries in Europe like Romania I think also farmed Brown Swiss. The breed was very hardy, dual purpose like-in the were used to plough the ground, produce milk for yogurt and cheese also finally eat.

In Switzerland the Monks in Monasteries recorded the amount of cheese produced by all the cows, the breed has naturally high level of protein in it, over many years ever higher levels of casein/whey because they were often bred to increase the amount of cheese produced from the milk.
I have owned Brown Swiss in Australia and New Zealand from my experience during my worldly travels particularly after I milked cows in the barn that posted in the collage file already in your thread, the image of BS cows in the snow below Peter and his Wife image.
The first two images below are considered to be Braunvieh and they are breed as beef cattle by a friend of mine (Andy Rainford) here in Australia. Those first two images have little or next to no American Line Breeding blood in their pedigree, there bloodlines go directly to the first Brown Swiss / Braunvieh shipped from Switzerland to America well Canada actually.
The next three images probably have lots of American fringing around in them, the first of the next three images of Brown Swiss is borrowed image of a cow that won the UK Royal Welsh Show in the UK.
The next two images are both cows in New Zealand quite a lot of inbreeding in there bloodlines to

Remarks by Vice President Joe Biden to The Ukrainian Rada

These are the ground rules. And if we fail to uphold them, we will rue the day. Russia has violated these ground rules and continues to violate them. Today Russia is occupying sovereign Ukrainian territory. Let me be crystal clear: The United States does not, will not, never will recognize Russia’s attempt to annex the Crimea. (Applause.) It’s that saying -- that simple. There is no justification.

And as Russia continues to send its thugs, its troops, its mercenaries across the border, Russian tanks and missiles still fill the Donbas. Separatist forces are organized, commanded and directed by Moscow -- by Moscow.

RE: Biden is already letting us down

On the matter of MH17’s flight path, Malaysian Airlines confirms that the pilot was instructed to fly at a lower altitude by the Kiev air traffic control tower upon its entry into Ukraine airspace.

“MH17 filed a flight plan requesting to fly at 35,000ft throughout Ukrainian airspace. This is close to the ‘optimum’ altitude.

However, an aircraft’s altitude in flight is determined by air traffic control on the ground. Upon entering Ukrainian airspace, MH17 was instructed by Ukrainian air traffic control to fly at 33,000ft.”

( For further details see press releases at : )

33,000 feet is 1000 feet above the restricted flight altitude (see image below). The request of the Ukrainian air traffic control authorities was implemented.

Oct. 5, 2019
KYIV, Ukraine —

Four days before President Trump was inaugurated in January 2017, the outgoing vice president, Joe Biden, was in Ukraine — his sixth visit in seven years — to deliver a rousing farewell speech.

“You’re fighting both against the cancer of corruption, which continues to eat away at Ukraine’s democracy within, and the unrelenting aggression of the Kremlin,” he told local leaders, politicians and parliamentarians in Kyiv, the capital.

Biden’s interest in the region goes back to his first term in the Senate in the 1970s. He focused on European affairs, and after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, he directed attention to former Soviet states including Ukraine, arguing they be allowed to join NATO and given economic and military support.

After Russian troops seized and occupied the Crimean peninsula in the spring of 2014 — the first post-Cold War territorial takeover by Moscow — Ukraine rose to the top of the Obama administration agenda. Obama essentially outsourced the portfolio to his vice president — a task, by most accounts, Biden enthusiastically embraced.
