Remarks by Vice President Joe Biden to The Ukrainian Rada

These are the ground rules. And if we fail to uphold them, we will rue the day. Russia has violated these ground rules and continues to violate them. Today Russia is occupying sovereign Ukrainian territory. Let me be crystal clear: The United States does not, will not, never will recognize Russia’s attempt to annex the Crimea. (Applause.) It’s that saying -- that simple. There is no justification.

And as Russia continues to send its thugs, its troops, its mercenaries across the border, Russian tanks and missiles still fill the Donbas. Separatist forces are organized, commanded and directed by Moscow -- by Moscow.

On the matter of MH17’s flight path, Malaysian Airlines confirms that the pilot was instructed to fly at a lower altitude by the Kiev air traffic control tower upon its entry into Ukraine airspace.

“MH17 filed a flight plan requesting to fly at 35,000ft throughout Ukrainian airspace. This is close to the ‘optimum’ altitude.

However, an aircraft’s altitude in flight is determined by air traffic control on the ground. Upon entering Ukrainian airspace, MH17 was instructed by Ukrainian air traffic control to fly at 33,000ft.”

( For further details see press releases at : )

33,000 feet is 1000 feet above the restricted flight altitude (see image below). The request of the Ukrainian air traffic control authorities was implemented.

KYIV, Ukraine —

Four days before President Trump was inaugurated in January 2017, the outgoing vice president, Joe Biden, was in Ukraine — his sixth visit in seven years — to deliver a rousing farewell speech.

“You’re fighting both against the cancer of corruption, which continues to eat away at Ukraine’s democracy within, and the unrelenting aggression of the Kremlin,” he told local leaders, politicians and parliamentarians in Kyiv, the capital.

Biden’s interest in the region goes back to his first term in the Senate in the 1970s. He focused on European affairs, and after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, he directed attention to former Soviet states including Ukraine, arguing they be allowed to join NATO and given economic and military support.

After Russian troops seized and occupied the Crimean peninsula in the spring of 2014 — the first post-Cold War territorial takeover by Moscow — Ukraine rose to the top of the Obama administration agenda. Obama essentially outsourced the portfolio to his vice president — a task, by most accounts, Biden enthusiastically embraced.

Joe Biden said on Monday the United States needed to negotiate with allies to set global trading rules to counter China’s growing influence.
Biden is off his rocker, he's a first class clown, an idiot, it is hard to perceive he'll ever step foot in the white house.

RE: What is your view on Collectivism?

I agree, it is callous, its sad that scenario represents an extreme level of stupidity practiced in lots of places common demonstration of religion & collectivism that is sadly practiced in many forms.

To my mind in an attempt to offer some sought of understanding to others its my view that story displays a complete lack of understanding of the nature of interdependence's of our experiences good bad or indifferent, a clearly stupid outcome that proposes the judges are some how all knowing beings, beings with sun shining our there one end and pure evil pouring out the other, clearly they are quite stupid, ignorant, and foolish people in the extreme, driven by a gravy chain of callous insane lunatic full of it religious nutters.

People shouldn't be harshly judging the karma's of others, harshly judging the failings of our shared human society, no constructive activity directed towards the well being of all parties in identified wrongs in that example clearly represents a wide spread simplistic bias driven by the afflictions like and dislike, which is not limited to America rather its a worldwide completely ignorant, foolish and very stupid misunderstanding, that is clearly being promoted by ignorant religious bigots in all corners of our global community.

RE: What is your view on Collectivism?

Religion is a form of collectivism, the blind leading the blind.
Yesterday I read our an appeal had been lodged in relation to a woman convicted of strangling a pregnant woman, cutting her body open and kidnapping her baby is scheduled to be the first female inmate put to death by the U.S. government in more than six decades. However the execution is delayed because her lawyers have been unable to visit their client because of the flu...fair enough...

That a state will execute someone for being so crazy that she strangled a pregnant women then cut her body open so she could kidnap the unborn child it bigger's disbelief, that the state is somehow less insane than the very sick mind that strangled a pregnant women then cut her body open so she could kidnap the unborn child.

now watch your collectivismdoh

RE: Do you think Biden will be a good prresident

It appears the USA legal system is clearly untrustworthy it lacks credibility, appears to run on personal judges opinions rather than prescribed directions, Act based rules and regulations like Westminster system attempts to advocate deputes with. (except Julian's matter) it appears toe USA has more clown based advocacy!!
U.S. election laws date back to Article 1 of the Constitution. This gave states the responsibility of overseeing federal elections. Many Constitutional amendments and federal laws to protect voting rights have been passed since then.
Voting and Election Laws

Trump Is Not Doing Well With His Election Lawsuits. Here’s a Rundown.

With Democrat Joe Biden capturing the presidency on Saturday, according to all major U.S. television networks, Trump’s legal woes are likely to deepen because in January he will lose the protections the U.S. legal system affords to a sitting president, former prosecutors said.

Here are some of the lawsuits and criminal probes that may haunt Trump as he leaves office.

With the accord aimed at cutting tariffs and establishing common rules for trade, e-commerce and intellectual property, even without India, an economic bloc representing around a third of the world's gross domestic product will be created.

For Japan, it will be its first free trade deal that includes China, its biggest trading partner, and South Korea.

Trumps is now surrounding himself with other combat hardened associates.
He got rid Mark Esper because he tried to align Trump with the defunct North Atlantic Treaty Organization NATO (the Dutch, Belgian and Poland group of clowns) the very same group of clowns who a lying about MH17 etc etc...Donald Trump know it. Russia is no longer a Communist Country it is now a democratic nation so the old catholic trick of deploying nuclear missiles targeting Russia in Europe (like Kenny did) that stunt ain't gunner work no more, no more MacAuther claiming commies under every bed, school children no longer hiding under school desks, no more big bad wolf lurking in the shadows, just what's lawful!!

I think until all filed legal proceedings have been heard in accordance with law, including all all filed or future appeals, Biden is acting in contempt of every court that applications have been filed in. wave

President Donald Trump fired Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Monday

Oct. 22, 2020
Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper participated in his sixth NATO Defense Ministerial as the U.S. Defense Secretary today, providing remarks during a session where Allies focused on strengthening deterrence and defense, and improving resilience.

The Secretary discussed challenges posed by increased Russian aggression, including concerns over their growing missile capabilities. He also addressed the risks of depending on the People’s Republic of China for technology and critical infrastructure as they continue to undermine the international global order.

back-up June 26

U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Friday sought to reassure allies at NATO that Washington will consult them on any future troop movements, after President Donald Trump surprised partners at the military alliance by announcing the withdrawal of thousands of personnel from Germany.

Trump said that he is ordering a major reduction in troop strength in Germany, from around 34,500 personnel down to 25,000. Members of his own party have criticized the move as a gift to Russia and a threat to U.S. national security. Germany is a hub for U.S. operations in the Middle East and Africa.

Trump said this week that the troops could be moved to Poland.

Germany wasn’t notified of the move, which came after Trump branded its NATO ally “delinquent” for failing to pay enough for its own defense, by not meeting a goal set in 2014 for members to halt budget cuts and move toward spending at least 2 percent of gross national product on defense by 2024.

It also emerged that flight MH17 had initially filed a flight plan requesting to fly at 35,000ft above Ukrainian territory. On entering Ukrainian airspace, however, the plane's pilots were instructed to fly at 33,000ft by the local air traffic control due to other traffic. Malaysia Airlines said the pilots had to follow the lead of the local authorities.

MH17 probe didn’t look for causes of tragedy, opted to impulsively blame Russia – Malaysian PM

Malaysia can’t accept the conclusions of the Dutch-led probe into the downing of flight MH17, as the probe didn’t seem interested in establishing the truth about the tragedy, the country’s prime minister Mahathir Mohamad has said.

“They aren’t really looking at the causes of the crash and who was responsible, but already they have decided that it must be Russia. We can’t accept that kind of attitude,” Mohamad said in an interview for the “MH17 - Call for Justice” documentary made by Bonanza Media, a platform for independent journalists.

Mohamad pointed out that it was “unfair and unusual” that Malaysia had only been included in the Dutch-led joint investigation team (JIT) six months after the crash.

“The plane is ours and there were Malaysians flying in the plane. They also died. It’s natural that Malaysia should be the first country that should be involved in the investigation, but… they just ignored us, took the black box and carried out the whole investigation,” he said.

Mohamad had said, while still an opposition figure in Malaysian politics, that attempts to pin blame on Russia for the tragedy were politically motivated, and he has maintained his views, even after becoming head of the government in 2018.

Russia has maintained that it had nothing to do with the aircraft’s downing. It has said that it couldn’t recognize the findings of an investigation that it wasn’t allowed to participate in, and blamed the JIT of being biased.

Moscow also supplied radar data and evidence from experiments to the Dutch-led experts proving that the missile that destroyed the Malaysian plane belonged to the Ukrainian military, but this data has been brushed aside.

The Russian defense ministry reported that all missiles of the class that the JIT insists was used in the attack were disposed of by Russia in 2011.

Indonesia has just announced its deploying more troops into PNG, they already had 20,000 commandos, then announced additional (thought i read, an additional 20,000) now further increase in troops on our northern boarder. Just over 337km from Cape York Australia.

RE: Why is alcohol a big part of the British culture?

The Guardian news Apr 17, 2015
Sailors were given a daily tot of rum from 1655 until the ration was abolished, as recently as 1970. Originally it was given to sailors neat when the beer ran out (water was not safe to drink as it became rancid very quickly at sea and it was often taken from polluted rivers, such as the Thames).Apr 17, 2015

Rum has a long tradition with Britain’s Royal Navy, and with navies that grew out of it, including the Australian, New Zealand, Canadian and other commonwealth navies.

The tradition of naval rum began with the Royal Navy’s West Indies squadron in Jamaica in 1655. By 1731, it had spread to the rest of the British fleet.

Coca-Cola has a proud history of supporting men and women in uniform and in the 1940s the Company was determined –in whatever small way it could –to offer those brave men and women a small reminder of home and happier times.

After sitting on the fence entry of the United States into the war brought an order from The Coca-Cola Company president Robert Woodruff in 1941 “to see that every man in uniform gets a bottle of Coca-Cola for five cents, wherever he is and whatever it costs the Company.”Despite the difficulties, Woodruff knew that Coca-Cola could support the war effort.

Presence of Coca-Cola did more than just lift the morale of the troops. In many areas, it gave local people their first taste of Coca-Cola—a taste they obviously enjoyed.

How Coca-Cola Provided A Fresh Coke to the Front Lines of World War II

Coca-Cola used to contain cocaine

After being wounded in the Civil War, former Confederate Colonel John Pemberton developed an addiction to morphine. He set out in search of an opium-free substitute, and the end result, which he developed at his drugstore in Columbus, Georgia, served as the prototype for Coca-Cola’s recipe; he called it a “brain tonic and intellectual beverage.”
2. It was derived from two key ingredients

The name Coca-Cola is derived from two primary ingredients: the coca leaf and the kola nut. Extract of the coca leaf was essentially cocaine, and the kola nut provided caffeine.
3. It was originally alcoholic

It originally contained 9 milligrams of cocaine per glass

5. It still contains coca leaf extract

In 1988, the New York Times discovered that Coca-Cola still contained non-narcotic coca leaf extract produced by the Stepan Company, the nation’s only legal commercial importer of coca leaves. ''Ingredients from the coca leaf are used, but there is no cocaine in it and it is all tightly overseen by regulatory authorities,'' a Coca-Cola spokesperson confirmed to the paper. No word on whether it still contains kola nuts, but we wouldn’t be too surprised!
