RE: Farming

Ali the Swiss farmers used Brown Swiss to plough there fields. I brushed all 27 cows each cow in a barn every day, removed the poo, fed and milked Brown Swiss cows in Switzerland while i was traveling around the world.
I do have one photo someone gave took for me of the barn and the same cow herd.

At another location up in the Swiss Alps i stayed in a village called Bivio, there the farmers took there cows up into the high peaks during warmer weathe,r and brought them back down to spend the winter in the village. A few farmers i knew in the Swiss during the winter housed there cows under their house, they fed them hay and still milked them, the farmer carried the milk on his back to the local cheese man who made yogurt and cheese with it. The cows helped to keep the house warm I found it a very fascinating country.

First two images of the countryside in Switzerland taken during a warmer time than the time i visited.
Then image of cows been let out of the barn to enjoy bit of outside time during winters day.
Then image of what was my orchard and place i had 27 Brown Swiss in NSW Australia.
Last image is photo of a show winning Brown Swiss cow in Wales in the UK' enjoy

RE: United Nations Military Games in Wuhon prior to the COVID-19 outbreak

President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia is militarily ready for a Cuban Missile-style crisis if the United States is foolish enough to want one and that his country currently has the edge when it comes to a first nuclear strike.

The Cuban Missile crisis erupted in 1962 when Moscow responded to a US missile deployment in Turkey by sending ballistic missiles to Cuba, sparking a standoff that brought the world to the brink of nuclear war.

More than five decades on, tensions are rising again over Russian fears that the United States might deploy intermediate-range nuclear missiles in Europe as a landmark cold war-era arms control treaty unravels.

------------------------------------------

RE: United Nations Military Games in Wuhon prior to the COVID-19 outbreak

President Nixon unexpectedly closed the Bretton Woods agreement and the US dollar’s final ties to gold on August 15, 1971. It was Nixon's full fiat US dollar action and the prior many decade’s US deficit spending which helped spring price inflationary episodes that brought all 4-major precious metals and other commodity prices to their then respective ‘all-time highs’ by the first half of 1980.

In the early 1970s, the USA also had two various somewhat severe overnight US dollar devaluations. The first quickly followed the Nixon Shock and whereby December 1971 we had agreed to a resultant 11% US dollar devaluation.

From 1978 into 1980 the world witnessed a US dollar quadrupling of crude oil prices, a quintupling of platinum prices, a six-folding of palladium prices, and a gold price spike from $200 USD oz in early 1978 to a then-record high of $850 oz by January 21, 1980.

During this same timeframe, silver went from about $5 USD oz to as high as $50 oz on January 21, 1980. The ongoing confusion as to what contributed most to this silver price increase is what we will examine next. It was not the Hunt Brothers who almost imploded the US dollar’s value.

In September 19, 1931, speculative attacks on the pound forced Britain to abandon the gold standard.
Britain, Germany, Austria and other European countries went off the gold standard in 1931 and weakened confidence in the dollar.
Recovery in the United States was slower than in Britain, in part due to Congressional reluctance to abandon the gold standard and float the U.S. currency as Britain had done.
Congress passed the Gold Reserve Act on 30 January 1934; the measure nationalized all gold by ordering Federal Reserve banks to turn over their supply to the U.S. Treasury. In return the banks received gold certificates to be used as reserves against deposits and Federal Reserve notes. The act also authorized the president to devalue the gold dollar. Under this authority the president, on 31 January 1934, changed the value of the dollar from $20.67 to the troy ounce to $35 to the troy ounce, a devaluation of over 40%.
Under the Bretton Woods international monetary agreement of 1944, the gold standard was kept without domestic convertibility. The role of gold was severely constrained, as other countries’ currencies were fixed in terms of the dollar. Many countries kept reserves in gold and settled accounts in gold. Still they preferred to settle balances with other currencies, with the American dollar becoming the favorite. The International Monetary Fund was established to help with the exchange process and assist nations in maintaining fixed rates. Within Bretton Woods adjustment was cushioned through credits that helped countries avoid deflation. Under the old standard, a country with an overvalued currency would lose gold and experience deflation until the currency was again valued correctly. Most countries defined their currencies in terms of dollars, but some countries imposed trading restrictions to protect reserves and exchange rates. Therefore, most countries' currencies were still basically inconvertible. In the late 1950s, the exchange restrictions were dropped and gold became an important element in international financial settlements.

RE: United Nations Military Games in Wuhon prior to the COVID-19 outbreak

GREED
Hardliners within the Trump administration are trying desperately to avoid reducing tariffs on imported medical supplies from China, hoping to stave off mounting pressure from health care workers and a panicked public as the coronavirus
death total mounts.

Before the US-China trade war, American tariffs on some US$22 billion in imported medical imports – including hospital gowns, thermometers, ultrasound systems and patient monitors – mostly ranged from zero to under 8 per cent.

Starting in 2018, Trump imposed duties of 15 to 25 per cent on some US$360 billion of Chinese goods, including US$5 billion in medical products, causing Chinese imports to fall sharply.“

RE: United Nations Military Games in Wuhon prior to the COVID-19 outbreak

I already posted reference to this matter in our threads.
Best as i can recall the military games that included American personal were held at the end of October 2019 while the first detection of whatever verity of flu that's now (merely labelled) labelled as covid-19 first appeared in Wuhan was at the beginning 2020.
This is another reference link to subject matter :

It is worth noting there are many variants of common flu, the flu injections people have been paying money for both here and in the USA have more than one variation of flu within the one jab.
Many people in our countries die after allowing the simplistically minded christian medical schools of thought to injection flu into their bodies. I repeat 60,000,100 Americans died from the flu in your 2018 / 2019 flu season.
Schools of thought that reject the notion of interdependent arising's, karma etc etc, who promote crystal ball grassing crap shouldn't be trusted.
e.g. Definitely five people held a meeting in San Fransisco, were then given access to international news media and daily, hourly (just like the clowns today) hourly, daily over long period of time spread you gunner die, you gunner die aids story. Took infected minds over one and half years before manifesting physical symptoms arising from that story line and world-wide they killed 24 million.

The Chinese alleged the American Military deliberately infected people in Wuhan.
I saw mention the covid-19 variant of flu can incubate over 37 days so perhaps your country really did (i dunno) attack China over the poor outcome Trump received from discussions with China over the sanctions he (Trump) imposed on China.

What I believe is we shouldn't hold solid what is not solid, guard your minds, causes arising from negativity that humans across the glob have been engaging (wars etc) sow the seeds of suffering both individually and collectedly, the very political bodies who created the war karma's are blaming others for there stupidity they are knee jerking blaming outside themselves for the constant hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly harmful war like activities since before ww2 and certainly unrelentingly since George Bush 1991/92 (and others here as well) constant hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly blaming and raining bombs upon innocent folks all over the place...

RE: Royal Navy shadows Russian ships after 'high activity' in Channel

Of course the UK, but there are quite a few aspects to the current trade war, including the call to arms by clown number one in the straits of Humus, then there is French nationalism e.g.
Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier docks at Limassol port
21 February 2020
THE COMPOSITION OF THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER GROUP

On departure from Toulon, the air and naval group was composed of the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, the on-board air group, the multi-mission frigate (FREMM) Auvergne, the air defense frigate (FDA) Chevalier Paul, the command and supply ship (BCR) Var, the Greek frigate HS Spetsai and a nuclear attack submarine. Throughout the deployment, various French* and foreign ships (German, American, Belgian, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese) as well as a maritime patrol aircraft Atlantique 2 will accompany or interact with the naval air group.

First, global competition between the United States and China is an established strategic fact nowadays, which structures, and from now on will structure, all international relations.
The very idea of a multilateral order based on law, whereby the use of force is regulated, commitments are fulfilled and laws create obligations that apply to everyone, is being challenged greatly today.

This dismantling of international norms is part of an assumed competition-based approach whereby only the law of the strongest and power balances count. The most cynical go so far as to hide behind a legal premise and a superficial attachment to the world order to better violate it with total impunity.

These attitudes obviously raise fundamental questions to our democracies. Can we be the only ones to respect the rules of the game, the only ones whose signature on international commitments still has value? Has this become a guilty naivety?

But this European freedom of action, Europe’s defence and security, cannot be based solely on a military approach.

To build the Europe of tomorrow, our norms cannot be controlled by the United States, our infrastructure, our ports and airports owned by Chinese capital, and our computer networks under Russian pressure.

At European level, we need to control our maritime, energy and digital infrastructure.

etc etc

RE: Royal Navy shadows Russian ships after 'high activity' in Channel

I would have thought Russian and Chinese troops deployed to assist collection of all the dead bodies the crematoriums are unable to deal with would bring great joy to members of N.A.T.O alliance given that France, Italy and Germany fully intend to continue to purchase Russian gas and are not inclined to support purchase facilitating introduction of gas via pipeline carrying stolen gas from Syria that the UK would feel secure knowing that Russia and China are so willing to assist countries in your region !!

RE: Royal Navy shadows Russian ships after 'high activity' in Channel

The Russian ships were actually in international waters. They had every right to be where they were. The Straits of Dover, the narrowest part of the Channel does, it’s true, lie wholly within the territorial waters of Britain and France, but there is a right of transit passage under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. It is of course a great pity that ships passing the Straits no longer have to dip their flag and lower their topsails in salute to the English, but times move on.

The truth of the matter is that the Russians, whether or not seven ships is ‘usual’ or ‘unusual’, weren’t doing anything wrong. If they had suddenly changed direction and started heading up the Thames, then of course it would be different, but they didn’t. So what’s the fuss?

RE: IS THE COVID-19 VIRUS MAN MADE

The current common flu (my inclusion) season does not appear to be as severe as 2017-2018, when the flu reached epidemic proportions and as many as 95,000 people died, according to CDC estimates.Feb 1, 2020

Between October 1, 2019, and December 7, 2019, there have been up to 3.7 million cases of the flu, between 23,000 to 41,000 hospitalizations, and approximately 1,300 to 3,300 flu-related deaths, according to the CDC . ... Health experts predict that flu activity may peak earlier than usual.Dec 13, 2019

While the impact of flu varies, it places a substantial burden on the health of people in the United States each year. CDC estimates that influenza has resulted in between 9 million – 45 million illnesses, between 140,000 – 810,000 hospitalizations and between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010.

Flu deaths are up more than 65% so far in 2020, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reporting that 4,800 people had died and 87,000 people had been hospitalized.

So far, 16,000 people have died and 280,000 people have been hospitalized during the 2019-2020 flu season, according to preliminary estimates from the CDC.

The majority of states, as well as New York City and Puerto Rico, are seeing high flu activity.

In total, the CDC estimates that 29 million people have gotten the flu so far this season.

“I heard on the news that China will release water from its dams for the Mekong Delta, but I’ve been waiting and seen nothing happening.”
China said in February it would release water from its upstream Mekong River dams to save downstream countries Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Vietnam, but experts said the 850 cubic meters per second it promised would never be enough to even reach the Mekong Delta.

The Mekong River flows 4,880 km through six countries, 2,130 km in China. Of the 19 hydropower projects China plans along the river, it has built 11 so far.
