RE: Dining out

Hi Frisky

There's a difference between an order being incorrect and not being to your satisfaction.

If it's incorrect, just send it back.

If it's not to your satisfaction, it's a different story.

RE: 11 Causes Of Rudeness

In reviewing this 57 year old gentleman's profile, I noticed he mentioned that his 79 year old mother had passed away and that he is now living with his brother.

He describes his occupation as a computer programmer but then goes on to say that this is a voluntary position so in other words he is unemployed.

This would most likely be a difficult situation for all, living under the same roof, however I feel this gent has the right to describe his feelings and share his thoughts as we all do confused

RE: Build it and they will come...

I can barely be bothered logging on here lately due to the lack of content but have noticed when viewing that you appear to be a trifle upset by whoever is thumbing down your posts.

Don't know about anyone else, but I don't need to see posts such as this, l find it offensive and would suggest it's time to take a break from this site if this is what you're reduced to.

RE: When did you snap out of it and become mature?

At the age of 14 when I think about itconfused

My mother was widowed and there wasn't much in the way of a pension back in those days so I worked casual jobs during school vacations to assist with our living expenses conversing

I did excel at school but left two years prior to graduation as I didn't want to be a burden to my mother.

I went on to do a year at college which I paid for myself then scored a brilliant job at a well-respected banking firm.

Bought my first car when I was 16, met my future husband at 18 and gave birth to my first child at 20.

RE: Advice concerning a dating prospect

So he's actually a disability support worker.

I'd suggest you draw a line in the sand and get some boundaries in place.

This man is paid to care for your son; if you wish to pursue a relationship with him it has nothing to do with the agency.

However I suspect this would be fraught with difficulties and suggest you consider whether this man is useful in terms of supporting your son.

If so, make it clear that this is where it begins and ends.

RE: Advice concerning a dating prospect
