NZ: Is 3 weeks through a 4 week lockdown. The Opposition Part leader perhaps 'did the most good' with an online petition to oblige every person who entered the country to undergo enforced 14 days quarantine ( many people were arriving with phoney self isolation plans and not respecting the situation)
We've fortunately had a tiny number of deaths and (though our PM tells us it's wrong to refer to 'This Fact') those deaths have all been among elderly, and already sick persons . Of course losing anyone of any age is sad, but to call them CV deaths over and above all other reasons may be a bit suspect ...
We've not seen many stupid acts (The ChCh Cougher' got himself a month in jail for his antics ) but by and large people have said 'OK, we'll go along with this ...' and have just gotten on with making the best of it.
We're being kept in the dark as to any let up of the Level 4 rules ( L3 is not much less strict ) and nothing is being said much to help businesses or people plan ! The L3 was dropped on us suddenly and we had only2 days notice of L4. There's thousands of tonnes of food been wasted as ONLY supermarkets were allowed to open ... I'm guessing we will see a lot fewer small food (bakery and butchers for example) businesses open again. But corner shops were allowed to stay open ... they sell nothing by way of 'decent food' only overpriced cans, bread, milk lollies ... and tobacco ?
the notion of 'essential items' is a mockery ... TradeMe the NZ auction site has race care engines and transmission conversion kits on some sellers listings as 'essential' while others have car parts and are NOT essential so can't be shipped!
As to the future ... who can tell. Small island nation and heavily dependent on tourism but the whole world is going to be 'bigger' and 'further away' because air travel is sure to become more complex, less accessible and of course more expensive !

There's no need to BELIEVE all the hype, however there's little point in trying to swim against the stream ... just 'keep your head' and this too will pass!

Of course, you COULD always go down to the 'properly socially distanced line' at your local supermarket and start telling the masses how stupid they are to be believing everything they have been told and believe?

You'll probably have a painful experience though - y'll recall that religious wars have been fought over nothing more than a 'difference of beliefs' . Doesn't matter 'what the different beliefs' ACTUALLY are, there's people who will fight to defend teir own sense of rightness ;-)

There's a difference between rights of 'FREE SPEECH' and limitation on mass assemblies ... surprising that people aren't bright enough to discern that.

If you're trying to define a 'One God' in any sort of physical terms that a human could easily recognise or identify ( old white guy with his finger on everything ) then that's perhaps unlikely, but if you consider the 'entirety' of everything as a unity then ... each individual person / mind as a centre of Divine Operation ... the micro as the same as the macro?
