I guess if the US are number one then it must be some perverse manner of counting things like cheating, lying, stealing, bombing the crap out of other sovereign nations etc etc ?
At 7:45 am today at a grocery store that opened at 8 for seniors only. A young man came from the parking lot and tried to cut in at the front of the line, but an old lady beat him back into the parking lot with her cane. He returned and tried to cut in again but an old man punched him in the gut, then kicked him to the ground and rolled him away. As he approached the line for the 3rd time he said, "If you don't let me unlock the door, you'll never get in there."
He's forgotten that last winter when the UK was under severe energy stress due to a prolonged cold spell Dear Old Putin sent them a tanker full of LPG ...
That scare the pants off the politicians - can;t have British people seeing the truth - that Russia is a benign neighbour as well as (let's not forget) the greatest of the WW2 Allies !
Someone from the Chinese raised the possibility (as a question) that the virus may have been deliberately or by accident brought to China by US Military taking part at the Wuhan Games.
HOWEVER this question was only raised AFTER the Deputy Director of the US Centre for Disease Control himself stated that the virus had PROBABLY been present in the USA for some time but cases were 'hidden' among the 'usual flu numbers' ( It being the case that 27000 to 57000 deaths p.a. is the 'normal range in the US Flue season )
Just as the US Military presence at the Wuhan games was kept from you (in the USA) there's probably a great deal more that also is being kept from you at this time.
Can't help wondering what President Xi actually knows given that Trump is (once again) back pedalling and offering 'respect to his friend' ... maybe Xi could announce something that could / would reflect badly upon himself, the US administration?
Will the US repatriate pharmaceutical production - the elites will have to invest heavily to do that, and given that trump has just had trouble with GM (they were demanding higher prices to manufacture ventilators for US domestic medical needs) I'd respectfully suggest that they really don;t give a toss about the populations - they will invest ONLY where they see opportunities for profit.
The Chinese and other far eastern companies cannot be blamed because they seized the opportunity to develop their own economies any more than the Japanese can be blamed for having invested in the US, UK and EU etc etc or for exporting large numbers of cars and parts into those regions.
There's a whole lot more yet to be uncovered ... and once again I;ll draw attention to Dwight Eisenhower's 1959 'farewell address' at the end of his presidency ... not to allow the MIC to have free rein, the need for an informed and alert citizenry to keep politicians in check !
