Thank heavens for Russian optimism and (esp) his willingness to continue to believe that situations can be worked through peacefully by diplomatic means and in accordance with International Law.
My assessment, (for what kittle it's worth) from knowing a number of Russian people and years of observation, is that they're extremely peaceful and tolerant folk** ... until the moment that they're no longer going to put with situation X at which point they suddenly and without warning erupt into a fight and don't stop till the other party stays down and can't get up again!
