Notice, it doesn't say Relationshipsforsingles.com or even Connectingforemotionalsupport.com
You take a couple of singles, and you connect them. Maybe for fifty years, maybe for one night.
There are, of course, other services for connecting people who aren't single, with anonymity and discretion and all that, but, at least those who use this service are at least, presumably, single.
You know, the whole two times in twenty six years that it's happened.
Seriously though, not a turn off at all. Actually, it's somewhat of a turn on. Good to see a woman pursuing what she wants, not just waiting until it knocks on her door. The problem with that- If it never comes to knock, she might just gaze at it through the window, and that might just be enough for her.
I think if they're both over pretense, and know what they're getting into, all the more power to them.
A couple years ago, I had a rather pleasant experience with someone who is 13 years my senior, and I'm only 26 now. Things didn't work out, but that's life. Things often 'don't work out' for people of the same age, too.
Heck, whether you're 26, or 46, I may end up finding myself quite attracted to you. "Que sera, sera."
I should have meant to make more clear in my previous post- I don't necessarily agree with his intentions, even if I'm not explicitly opposed to the burning of any book.
Granted, one should consider the value of one's actions, but if that specific action is sincerely determined to be the best which fulfills his intent, so be it.
I've seen enough US flags on fire to understand where he's coming from.
Not all Americans are under-educated over-privileged imperialist warmongering capitalist scum, like a lot of people would have you think.
Not all Muslims are terrorists, either. That's true enough.
Personally, I don't mind if you burn a Quran. Or a Bible, for that matter. Or Harry Potter. Or a copy of the US constitution. Or Poppy Z Brite's novel 'Exquisite Corpse' (which, if anyone has ever made it past the first chapter, let alone the first few pages, I applaud your iron will.) Anyhow, it's your freedom of speech. We have that in this country.
But then again, that's just me, and I'm not the kind of guy who is going to kill someone over burning words on paper.
(I find that if you microwave it first on defrost, it'll get a little spongie, so it won't fall apart, and then you can grill it, and it tastes a lot better. Although, it's still not as good as a nice firm piece of meat. )
I don't have any serious phobias that I'm aware of.
Though, I really, really dislike the crunching of bugs. I practice catch and release, and if I (usually at someone else's demand) really have to kill one, I'll freeze it to death, or trap it in a big piece of packaging or duct tape. Or even a good fast SMACK with a book or something isn't so bad, because it doesn't transmit the sound or texture.
How was it that you knew the Amex had such a high spending limit?
Most card 'styles' represent what kind of program they are enrolled in, not what their actual limit is?
And- If I thought I could return it myself, I would, because I wouldn't trust a random stranger, even if it's a cop, to do the right thing anymore than I would trust myself.
You probably mean that we evolved from a common ancestor.
Evolution doesn't suggest that we evolved from something that is here presently, but that we, and that which is also here, both evolved from something that used to be here before we ere.
It's not a song per se, more of a joke really, but it's about school songs, no?
What sound does a dummy make? - "Dum!"
What sound do two dummies make? - "Dum dum!"
What sound does three thousand dummies make? "Dum dum DUM DUM DUM dum DUM, DUM dum dum dum DUM DUM (Sang to the tune of whatever your school/university rival's song is).
