I have seen 'the light' but i still don't believe. How do I know my brain didn't create that image of light. We only use 10% of our brain. What does that other 90% do?
Do you belive in santa clause, or the easter bunny? I remember going to church when I was 6, and I was affraid my mom would get mad at me if I told her I didn't believe. SO the truth from a lifelong non-believer: Most of us honestly wish we could believe, especially with the passing of a love one. But we can't believe anymore than you can belive in the tooth fairy. I wish I could believe, in this world the wicked are rewarded(the crooked salesmen, the politcians...) while the good are made to suffer.I would love to believe that in an afterlife the good would be rewarded and the wicked punished. Just like you can't make yourself fall inlove with someone, we can't MAKE ourselves believe. Can you make yourself not belive in God? I bet you can't.
