Anyone passing over from our teenage years.... will always feel like some part of us has died too... In a way, even though we most probably would have never met the person: it will still indeed, feel like a personal loss...

Yep, when kids are Young you make the extra effort... but nowadays I just feel like jetting off to Timbuktu! I hate all the falseness and forced extra stress... And the emaphasis on the loneliness for those who have no family, or isolated for some reason or other.
My childhood Christmas was fine..just a few decorations and being together with the rest of my family. School concert. And perhaps midnight mass... A mood set for practicing gratefulness, not wastefulness....

Bus system in Malta is mostly the same.. We have one central-hub, which is the main one, located outside Valletta. Buses head out from there to two different directions...One to the North part of the Island, the other South. There are also secondary hubs mostly located at the touristic towns. And also (tourist-intended) direct routes which bypass Valletta.
At the moment we have multi colour and multi shaped buses. We're supposedly getting a new bus operator soon. Fingers crossed...and toes too...

I didn't see the poll......but, many-a-thing are like a double-edged sword: Ironically, rabbit-stew is one of our most sought traditional dishes. And I would be lying if I said I wouldn't eat it. We grew up eating rabbit... BUT... I would never get one from the pet shop for culinary reasons. In fact, haven't cooked it myself for a very very very long time. Not even comfortable anymore getting it from a butcher's, frozen, ready to cook. I think, the more I encounter the human race, the more I'm turning into a vegetarian.
My Irish hero and sssshhh... had a huge crush on him when I was a little girl. Sunday-eve TV.. still wonder how it wasn't censored, and why I wasn't ever sent early to bed!!
