i have some memories i treasure...

when i signed up i started to receive a flower every day from a guy in Greece (not Chris , alas

)

every day in my mailbox there was a flower and his wishes for me to have a great day..

this lasted during all his stay on CS (about a year and a half)

a pure kindness "without strings attached"

and about some dogs, too

at least about our dutchhound Clementine (R.I.P.)...

she was exactly that..unpredictable and doing what she wanted...somehow, it made her more adorable in my eyes...a free spirit in dog's body

oh, well...as i said i know nothing about the squirrels...

the squirrel i know most is Scratch and i liked him, so i was trying to "negotiate" the situation and make both parts happy...

i have never fighted any squirrel....

actually i have seen them only in some parks...

but what about inverting your strategy and offering them an easy food right in front of the tomatoes plants (like some seeds, hazelnuts, fruits offered on the plate

) to make them feel sate so they would not bother/care anymore for the tomatoes?

my mum has always earned more than my dad (while they were both actively working)

now they are both retired and my dad's retirement pay is higher than my mum's one

i cannot recall anyone of them having any problem with the situation before or now

my mum is 72, my dad is 75
