At one time they had the friends list on here. Your friends actually would show up on your profile page. I am unsure why they got rid of it and I actually liked it It left about the time they got rid of the chat rooms and instant messaging.

There is a difference between ignorance and stupidity. I would say stupidity is the biggest threat. Ignorance they still stand a chance to learn stupidity is knowing and still making unhealthy decisions.

Honesty is a rare quality anymore. Some can find ways to justify their dishonesty. An example: stealing, most consider this a dishonest action. If you are on your phone hiding in the bathroom on your job to play the newest game etc.... some would not look at this as stealing. Yet you are being paid to do a job and you are milking the time. I would call that stealing time many would justify their right to do that. Honesty and integrity seem to be close friends. I will always think that the most honest person is the one who is honest with themselves first. Most the times when people ask how I am I say just peachy and I can be anything but peachy so I out right lie rather than say it is none of your (beep) business. Is that being dishonest out of being polite. Ok ....... Who do you think is more honest Ali110?

I quit buying sets years ago. I have a few old iron skillets that are my go to skillets and an assortment of stuff I have seen and decided that I would like. I do need to throw out my old non stick pans time to find a couple of more. I have a tendency not to cook with new things and stick with the old fashioned way. My daughter talked me into baking my bacon. It was easier but I like the taste of fried bacon. Old school for me!

I have been taught patience from a very early age. I am starting to think it is highly over rated. Yesterday I decided to paint my fingernails, not much you can do with wet nails except watch the paint dry Today I am making home made bread. I am now waiting for the yeast rise. Yup I really need to start buying regular dough already processed.

Hi At one time they had both. People seemed to really like them. If my memory is correct they got rid of the chat (instant messages) first and shortly after the other. I imagine they just got tired of baby sitting the users. In plain words they were abused. I had little experience on line at that time and I remember I just blocked the instant chat. And I think I only went in the chat rooms once. To fast paced for me to keep up. If you really want to get to know someone try skyping or some form of video talk when you know them enough to be comfortable. with that. And you never know I believe ownership has changed since I have been here maybe one day they will bring the other back.


If I am not correct don't panic someone will be along shortly to correct me

I have known a few that have met on here and coupled up. I know some that have met on other sites and have coupled up. The majority of them staying together happily. Which is kind of interesting that the majority stayed together. I think the word scammer gets thrown around frivolously. To me a scammer is someone who is trying to deceive you to acquire something they want.

His home here was near me. He lived a good life a long the Okeechobee (Indiantown, a poor community) . A quiet life. He was a beloved respected member of the community in his area. His death was mourned. I was surprised at his choices of places. The way of life here is not for the soft. But he couldn't of picked a more loving community. It became his home.

I agree age does play a big role in it. I work for large corporation and since covid I have been living at work. 50 and 60 hour weeks. I am also training someone. I will go part time beginning of the new year. There are many gorgeous areas here for me. I am thinking driving across state (short drive) and hiking and kayaking for a couple of days. I love the outdoors and that always makes me feel so peaceful. I usually choose pet friendly unless I am going out amongst the gators. Then one of my grands come and stays with them. Dogs seem to attract gators more than me I am going to take memorial day week off I believe. I have some vaca pay that needs some using. Have a wonderful weekend.

I had one not give me my money one time. They run the camera and went inside and gave me my money. You should of seen my face when I was standing there no money and it just gave me a reciept Hope it all works out good for you. I hate anyone to take anything from me. Living alone and being independent for at the very least two years. It gives you a chance to really look at yourself. I see so many people either going from relationship to relationship, or not being self supporting. Living with their children, parents etc.

I am almost directly across the state from you I have lived in my area all my life also. Seen many changes and also think I would possibly die if I went up north in winter due to the cold Your area is quite beautiful. I love Manasota Key. When there I try to stay as close to the beach as I can get. Driving into Englewood for dinner out at least once in my stay. I try to get south of stump pass (right in that quiet strip that is Manasota Key). Your side has the beautiful shells. and I like to look for shark teeth and glass. My area they have pumped so much sand in the last 20 years that our shells are no longer the shells of my youth. I did see a live sand dollar two summers ago. Been a while since I seen one of those.

I have been a loner for decades so I was ok with that part. I learned in the beginning I could be a lot more giving than I ever thought. Not just of my money but also of my time. (Though nice I am quite standoffish and keep a wall up. Not stingy cautious of both time and money) Later on as time went by I learned somehow I had changed through out the decades. I no longer worked to live, I lived to work. I would like to change that. I did not see that before. What a horrible shock. I learned there are some real mean people in life and they had taken their mask off where they could wear the covid mask And that is a smidgeon of what I have learned. I have no problem looking at myself and seeing me for me. The good bad and the ugly And I did and do not like the changes I have seen in society.
