I don't really have any pressing worries or fears. Haven't in years. Maybe they leave with age or maybe we become more comfortable with the ways of life and know we only have control over our self. What ever the reason I am glad I don't have the worries of my youth

I actually voted yes. I am not a religious enthusiast. And have noticed (and in the last ten years must of read a thousand profiles ) most who say their religion then say in the tell me about your self part of the profile. How they feel about it. Either my religion means a lot to me, I believe but am not a church going son of a gun, I want someone who believes as I do. I put spiritual and for some reason you very seldom see this mentioned in ones profile I don't elaborate either. The thing is usually most can get a long if they want to. I have a difficult time tho picturing myself with a religious enthusiast. Yet I was happily married for decades to an agnostic. He lived more of religiously moral life than most Christians. I am a believer but do not feel the need to make you one or do I like to be preached at. I do not believe in organized religion there fore I am more spiritual. So yes I like to be able to know a head to not open a can of worms if I don't have too

I hope you are ok. Sometimes in life I have to walk thru the sadness to get to the other side. And sometimes I am not really sad but more like feeling sorry for myself so I kick it to the curb. Hope yours is the kind you can kick to the curb and nothing you need to walk thru.

I think it is good to have a little of both. To be honest I am better at spontaneous than making plans. If I didn't plan early for christmas tho I am unsure how that would come off. Here recently I have had people call me and say "Hey lets go play in the rain" and I find myself leaving quickly and running around in the rain. By play it has been things like drinks and food at an outside venue on the water, or motorbike rides. When I plan is when the fears of the what ifs have a chance to creep in. Which actually is kind of good because it usually isn't as bad as I picture

I have always pre-planned christmas. The children and grand children family and friends come to my house. I think this is my last year tho. It is bitter sweet. My daughter is going to start doing it at her house. she was suppose to this year but it still ended up at my house.

It was 90F today. I would like a little of your cold. Not a lot just enough to make it about 74 or 76. Our summers in the month of August and September are brutally hot. I grew up here with out ac so I am ok. Lordy the young people aren't tho Colorado is one of the few states I have not been to. The no humidity must be awesome

It don't snow here. I just don't know if I could handle being that cold. Our high today here was 84F, it will stay warm for a few days. Might get a cold spell or two before winter ends. But nothing like yours

I am a brick of responsibility. Don't know where it came from. It just showed up one day in my adulthood. It has its perks. So I have let it live here within me. It is the reason I can look in the mirror and love who is looking back. It is the reason I can lay my head on my pillow and sleep good at night. Sometimes it is not easy. But it has always been the foundation that has kept me at my happiest. I also have a free wild side. But not at the expense of others.

I do respect myself. If anyone knows me. I know me. And I know my life. I also respect others. Respect with me is something you have to lose for me not to respect you. I also respect the rights others to have a different opinion without trying to force feed mine. And I am now going to respectfully get off your thread instead of continuing to type

From my own personal experience I would say Canada and Australia. I know no one from Finland So from the cultures I do know it would be these two.

Not all good men are good for the women they desire. Most women who are single especially my age want happiness and are not willing to sacrifice to make someone else happy. So they either find someone who compliments their life style or they remain single. I remain single because it is less stressful. Most men I have met instantly want to start trying to change me and I am happy the way I am

I agree with you completely on this. And so love the subject. Yesterday I used my voice of authority and a stern demeanor I wanted the waitress to give me the tab for I wanted to treat my friends. And they all looked at me and I could not help but laugh. I said don't you just love my voice of authority. I usually am soft spoken and have a happy easy going persona..

Sadly unhappiness seems to be spread quite thickly through out the world. Take the international forums for example. We are a group from various nations. How many do you think are happy here? Go back and read through the many saved post on here and ask yourself. Tho the polls say Africa is the most unhappiest. If I had my guess I would say Central America. Look what they endure and go through seeking a better life. Unhappiness to some I guess equals not getting your own way. When how happy would you be living in fear of your life every day? How happy would you have to be to try and cross a border where you know you are not wanted? How happy would you be to have a child die in your arms from hunger. How unhappy would you have to be to think these things do not matter? Now a days bitterness and resentment and childish tantrums are moving thru all societies. People who know me would wonder how I can be so happy in my life. How could I not? I go to bed in a nice warm bed and I have food in my belly. So do we believe polls? Because in all honesty even the greedy people in our societies how happy do you think they are? They are always hungry for power and riches they are never full.
I love how you worded this question who do YOU find to be the unhappiest nation?
It is like ripping layers of wrapper off a gift. You find out if the gift will be beautiful or if it will be ugly.

That is something I work on daily. Sometimes my strong will and my big mouth get the best of me

So this year (didn't make one last year) I have decided to try and spend less money. This year has been ......fun but I really need to save more otherwise I am going to be working till I die.

There are at this moment 3432 members on line right now. Only a hand full post in the forums blogs etc. They are CS members so I would say quite a few. Sadly in my opinion dating sites and on line has actually made it more difficult for people to find someone. I feel it has created a society of unreasonable expectations for many Then they have the stress after communication of meeting. Many get so scared they remain in their cocoon of where they are comfortable behind their screens. Just my view......
