You are right Ams, I went back to read it and there was no arguement, dago had to explain himself very succinctly to be understood, I think she just read his post quickly and had a reaction, same as I did to hers, and you did too, no big deal, it's all only words, (sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me, I said that to mr bryant my history teacher once, he clouted me with the book he was holding and told me to shut up )

Haaaa this is so funny,....since my wife passed away I have dated a few ladies, all of whome were divorcees, all of whom have serious trust issues, and a couple of whom had such jealousy issues......well, lets not go into that but the subject struck a chord

I'm not entirely sure about the term "blowing off" but I know for sure you have friends on this site, I hope to become one of them over time.

perhaps some of you ladies are underselling yourselves by quite a bit I've come to think there are some really smart cookies on this site and there are lots of ladies here that could potentially make my life complete, the problem is... although an international forum can give us plenty of choice, it's not actually possible to forge physical relationships over vast distances, lasting love is something that grows with time, finding someone with whom you want to spend so much time with is never going to be easy

I'm not going to go into details but I have some small experience in this matter too, most of the time it seems that the parents get convinced that they are doing whats best for the child and that the child will have a better life without them, however much it hurts them to give the child up (and it usually does scar them for life with an effect that never goes away) most of the time the parents are wrongly convinced that they are worthless and have no prospects of coping. Things were very different in british society years ago and are still very tough for some peeps today, we can help ourselves by forgiving others too, quite often it doesn't mean that the kids aren't wanted, just that the parents can't see any other way forward and they sacrafice their own feelings and a big part of their life for the good of the child.
