This past Easter it was only my mom, me, amd my niece. My mom boiled 4 dozen eggs to color doh she then gave me 2 dozen to take home, holy crap!

I think some are still in the yard waiting to be found rolling on the floor laughing

I think now how young my parents were when they raised me. But, as a child you have no idea they didn't know what they were doing laugh You just knew everything was going to be taken care of.

Now a days kids seem to want the most expensive, newest thing. doh

I also remember my sisters and I being real big into Little House on the Prarie. One year I made all of them a doll for their stockings laugh

When I was a kid, we were too poor for our parents to buy us all care bears. My mom made each of us one. Mine was bedtime bear. grin

When I was really little, a girl told me that she could make the clouds move, I believed her rolling on the floor laughing We lay on the grass and she said see, the clouds are moving, I am making them do that...laugh

Do not tell my mom that Santa does not exist... she will argue with you laugh Us kids would always have to wait till dad went downstairs and lit the tree before we could come down. I guess I really miss the innocence of my childhood.

I remember the last year my older sister was alive, I was 18, her and I came home for Christmas, all us kids set out cookies for Santa, we acted like we were kids again. She died 4 months later. I loved that Christmas. Thanks for bringing back happy memories hug

I miss knowing that somehow, my parents would make everything right, late night watching t.v. with my sisters, Christmas where us kids would all pile into one room and stay up all night giggling, feeling safe...
